We went to the Gatehouse in Wolverhampton a few weeks ago around half 6 and they only had the 1 curry available. When we asked for corn on the cob for a child's meal they didn't have that either.
Finally for dessert we asked the candymania sundae.. it came with no cookies or malteasers.
don't think we'll be going back on a curry night.

They seem to have really gone down hill over the past 12 months. The branches in Letchworth and Norwich I've visited take an age to get the food out and then it's pretty bad. I wouldn't even say you get value for money.

You should expect to get what you pay for, I'd imagine? For £5, if your expectation are set accordingly, then its a good deal. But if you expect top quality food and efficient service, then you'll be disappointed.

not always thst you get whst you pay for. e.g. supermarkets advertise loss leaders to get you through the door. as should a eating house on the basis that you may come back on a full price night & tell your friends. get what you pay for really should only apply to products not services

A fiver for a pint and a microwave meal? Cheaper to buy those in Tesco and "cook" it at home!

But if you do that, you won't be able to sit next to the local drunk OR have kids running around the tables chasing each other.

Seeing as its £4.20 a pint at my local this deal is storming. But as said earlier, dont expect a Michelin 5 Star curry.
