Thanks OP - been on the look for some memory for my incoming Ryzen...

Only problem is it's "delivered when available" and as price is £55 less than on Crucial's website then I'd guess that that might be some wait

For the Ryzen I would (and will) buy a 3200mhz instead.

if i wanted 32gb would i need mathed pairs as i buidling a pc for video editing for my lad with ryzen, or would higher speed ram be better?

​I'm sure I didn't see that when I looked but it's there now so placed an order (I'm in process of ordering parts for new PC) and will see if they deliver on Friday as promised.

Well that sucks just spent £56 on some patriot viper 4gb x2 ram I thought that was decent at the time since I did have some corsair ram last week on offer for around about the same than by the weekend it shot up to nearly £80!! Bargain at this price wish I'd waited :disappointed:

Would these be safe to overclock to 1.35v? as every other ddr4 ram ive seen seem to overclock to that voltage but i cant find anything on this ram

these apparently are one of the best ddr4 2400 to have. I picked up 16GB for £80 recently and what fantastic RAM :smiley: have heat op

So that is Hynix which is not the best clocking memory. Nor is Micron (Crucial). Once again the best RAM for Ryzen is meant to be Samsung B-Die. Obviously anyone buying would have to check this out, but I believe that SOME Corsair uses those chips, and some (many) ADATA ones do to.

I'm currently clocked at 2933, early bioses, early microcode, plenty of people with other boards have got this RAM to 3200 under Ryzen. I got it to boot windows once at 3200, but it wasn't stable.

Point being, for Ryzen, buy faster than 2400, this ram is 3200, same price as the 3000 and clocks at 3000 rate out the box. Future bioses/microcode will improve this since the RAM is rated in its XMP profile to 3200.

looking at it now the price for 1 * (16 gb pack is £119.99) :confused:.

Hopefully that works fine for you and that's a greal deal but for anyone looking to follow suit it is worth noting that purchasing two 2x8GB kits is not the same as a manufacturers retail 4x8GB matched kit. It is probably fine at stock speeds/timings etc. but some boards (and especially early bioses) can have issues when you put together two different kits. As I said. it causes issues particularly if you're planning to overclock and if you're going Ryzen then I'd also have my reservations given its numerous memory issues due to the infancy of the new chipset/mobos.
