Been waiting about 6 months for a deal on one of these. Only saw this today though and it's already back up to £120. Gutted doesn't even begin to cover it :/

Carelessly named OP - your title suggests this is a solar powered watch - it's battery powered

I also thought the same, however the features says solar powered, also says it on the dial if you looked closely
Biker.Jeff to dmm1000

No it doesn't.... because i never used the word 'powered'
I know full well that solar watches have a battery in them and the solar cell charges the battery.
Try picking on the Eco Drive deals that are often on here.... they almost always say 'powered by light' and 'never needs a battery'

as it's a white watch you can buy straps in almost any colour
although i bought a watch about 2 weeks ago I'm sold again.
i cant find any reason not to buy it
imo you can sell this watch for about the same price if you get bored of it.

Trying to resist: it's only mineral glass!
Unfortunately it's stainless steel, some used to be a layer of stainless steel on resin.
It's also easy to read! Not black on black or some crazy combination.
And a Japanese movement!
Stop!
Too late: bought!
Well, it is solar as well

I'm always wary of resin straps . Surely not as durable as stainless steel ?

I've had resin straps that have lasted for years...... but its easy to change straps if you want something else. You can get decent stainless steel bracelets for around £5 from China on Ebay.
