Looks good - £79.99 on argos.co.uk.
"Printer ships with 700 pages starter cartridge".
Replacement 1600 page toner cartridges are available for less than £10 on eBay.

The replacement toner sounds very cheap, I have ordered a printer just because of this. By the way, where can we get this toner at this price?
Thanks

An eBay search for "lbp6030 toner" brings up many results.
Someone try this thing plugged into the USB port of their router, to see if it will print that way over the network please.

If the router has USB printer server function, then it will work. It's not anything to do with the printer.

I need a cheap WiFi printer. Not necessarily laser (although preferable), but needs cheap ongoing costs. Any ideas?

The cheapest wifi laser is Samsung M2026W £60 on amazon and Very.
it's £80 everywhere else and was £80 on both amazon and very last week so you need to hurry.

Some cheap laser/inkjet printer require host software to run on the computer, in which case they will not work via the USB print server build into a router.

USB print server just forms a bridge between printer and computer and enables connection via your router like it was connected directly via USB. Whether it needs drivers only or host software as well, won't change that functionality. As long as the router has the ability to create the connection, it will work. As the previous person says, it has nothing to do with the printer.
anyone recommend a good laser printer with wifi and cheap replacement inks?

Still means going to the room and turning the PC on, wait for it to boot. Defeats the object of wireless printing, might as well just USB/email the document to the PC and print it as normal, and of course you'll be limited on where you can put the printer unless you want to buy extra long USB cables.
You can't even plug an ethernet connection in to this, so no opportunity to use it with another router/powerline adapter.
Although it's cheap, a much better option would be a Richo printer with ethernet built in for people who don't want to have to tether the printer to a PC in order for it to print anything.

This one says it's wireless but there's no indication of an aerial or pick up an old router with a printer connection for less
Please keep in mind that this is not a colour printer, but monochrome only.
