Saw this on camerapricebuster.co.uk
I have had this camera for a while now and love it to bits. Seems like a good price to me - the STM lenses are great for video work - so quiet. A great camera that is in Canon's Enthusiast range (i.e. one down from Pro range). Hope it helps someone. I see from website that Manchester has stock for example

Probably drop more yet as it's been superseded by the 80d, well I presume it has .
I once was going to buy a 7d after the 7D mark two came out but left it too long waiting for the price to hit rock bottom and all the stock disappeared

dpreview comparison
80d more recent image processor but you are still paying a premium - depends what your budget is

How does this compare against a Nikon D5500?

Would also like to know this I got a d5500 with vr II 18-55 lens and tamron 70-300mm with nikon bag and 2000 shots on camera for £350 the other option was canon but they seemed comparable but couldn't be had for a good price second hand even the nikons are so close to new price second hand

Nikon D5500 had better features e.g. Wide dynamic range
BUT I will choose Canon, because their camera body is MADE IN JAPAN. I mean quality is more important to me.
