Why are people always so picky on this site especially the ones that don't contribute that much.
Obviously like so many prime only offers on this site you would not pay for Prime for a one off
Many people thou like myself already have Prime , buy many different items from Amazon throughout the year and have amazon TV also, so no additional cost to them.
If you were to take it on a like for like basis anyway and have the eggs delivered from Tesco that would cost you £7.00 a month with them anyway.

XL Eggs are currently £4.00 in Tesco the same price as large eggs.
So 4 eggs at Tesco would be £16,

When you've got free delivery can you add more (non Easter related) pantry items to same box or is it deemed full?

Add the malteser bunnies for 1.50 and you still get free delivery, and it's under £10 then too.

Probably because a hell of a lot more people dont have prime than actually pay for it!

Don't forget Prime is free to students, and there's a hell of a lot of them. That's probably where all the eggs have gone.

That's irrelevant. If you don't have prime, it doesn't make it a bad deal, it just isn't applicable to those people. In the same sense that I do have prime, but don't need any Easter eggs. Still voted hot though.

Bought some large eggs from Tesco on Monday and the Twirl ones are 31st July and the Minstrel ones 25th June 2017, so dates appear to be on par with Tesco eggs anyway.

Ok - I hadn't bought any as yet before now but can't remember them to be so short-dated.

2 x Galaxy Golden Eggs Large Chocolate Egg and 2 x Galaxy Indulgence Luxury Chocolate Egg comes to 12.23. how are you getting it to 10.50?

24 Mar 17#30
I cannot get this to work at all. I have prime.
My total comes to £21 - each extra large egg is £6 and the smaller one is £3. The 25% is taken off at checkout, giving £15.75 - what am I doing wrong?
goldy12 to patience_1
24 Mar 17#31
Your not doing anything wrong it would appear that Amazon has increased the prices of the eggs since the original post which is where the difference in price is coming from XL eggs were £4 each originally, but are now £6 each.
Still not a bad deal if that's what you want, as the XL eggs have gone up in Tesco also now .
If your not bothered about the XL eggs, Wilko have a small selection of large eggs at £2.50 Sainsbury's has a bigger selection of large eggs £3 each and Asda & Morrisons have Medium ones at £1 each at the moment , so may be better off buying from the shops.
