Why would you hinder your gaming experience with such low quality on the visual end?
I'm not a brand hore, as been using a hanspree TV as my monitor for like 5years, prior to that I used an LG TV, the difference between a cheap brand and the higher brand was like night and day. Only reason I havnt got a proper branded screen is because the damn hanspree isn't dying.

This useless app won't permit me to save the edited text, after SwiftKey changed the single word "if" that I'd typed to "of". It's amazing how a single letter can completely throw some folks

12 years for a plasma is very good going ; I reckon my old plasma had a better than than any LCD TV up to at least £1k. It was just so heavy otherwise I would look at buying a 2nd plasma.Personally I would find it hard paying £500-£600 and getting a worse picture than my old plasma. So a TV like the Bush is just a stop gap...

Possibly, though people buying this surely won't have reliability in mind. Those paying twice the price are likely to gain a 5/6 year warranty.
My previous plasma is 12 years old and still in daily use, current plasma is 3 years old and will be here for the next 3 at least.

Preach! I bought a 42inch TV from Tesco during one of the boost promotions, cost me 130ish. It's set up as my main TV but I'm not much of a TV person. Good thing too as the colour output is terrible. You either get a single fluorescent RGB colour or settle for washed out colours. Sound isn't great either as I'm always having to increase over 25 to hear anything. I guess the only people who would enjoy such low quality images are those who don't have anything better to compare it to. Emotion was the brand.

Judging by the lack of heat on the few deals you've posted, I'm not sure I would appoint you as the Great Arbitrator of Quality on here. :stuck_out_tongue:

I can only imagine that if you have paid 2+ times this for a non OLED & non FALD TV you will be ever more bitter as you will have paid way more but still ended up with the same carp backlight & poor blacks...

Worst TV brand ever ..its so low in price as they break easy I should know I've had a few and before anyone gets the knickers in a twist ..I'm stating facts! Find another brand if u want it to last longer than a year

11 Mar 171#39
so what can do you recommend for less than £350 whilst waiting for OLED or FALD to come down? I don't want to pay allot for the normal carpy backlight all LCD's that are non- FALD and non OLED come with...
thing is if it dies after year then @ £200 its stil much the same as a £1k OLED with 5 yr warranty...still £200 p/yr.
I use to have a £1k full HD panny plasma (died after 7 yrs un-economic to repair) so I know what good looks like.

Little wonder there are so many LCD TVs at the dump. Yes, these might last until the warranty has expired though I know of too many Vestel and UMC TVs that died prematurely.
Guessing I am wasting my time though this is a prime example of getting what you paid for.

I bought this TV last week after it was OOS for nearly a week. People reserve these TV's but never collect them so keep trying and trying. If I'd have seen this deal I'd have held off for a week.

I have a 40" bush. It's a great picture, comparable to the leading brands. My mates had a bush for 8 years it outlived my Samsung that I brought the same time.

I have one of these. It's absolutely fine for our needs. I have no issue with screen or quality and at the end of the day it's a TV that works fine. I have no idea what these TV obsessed people are going on about, I have no bitterness at all.

We bought one of these around a year ago, it does what it says on the tin. Picture quality in hd is very good, and sound quality perfectlly fine not tinny at all, only negative I would say is the legs are a little wobbly which isn't really a problem if you wall mount it or do not have kids/pets that may knock it.

I have similar 42" version of this screen. had it about 3 months now. use it as a second TV for the bedroom... cost £180 iirc, and pretty pleased with it for that... Mike has freeview play which I can't see for this one... Picture quality is pretty good, but sound is terrible... get some external speakers or a soundbar and all good...
