not sure id find it too much to eat, i like a Whopper with cheese, and another Whopper with cheese instead of the fries, then a Bacon double cheeseburger for pudding, and a big king instead of a drink... nomnom :smile:

I find it a bit too much too eat, it's quite heavy and I'm also not a fan of BBQ sauce. Can't go wrong with a Whopper imo

When you try to get a drink along with it, they try to charge you £3.79 because they convert it into a meal, cheeky ****!

yeah its pretty standard practice in the t&c's that service stations, railway stations, the O2 and Haven holiday camp sites wont honour this deal

I think you will find at participating restaurants somewhere in the advertising and vouchers. look at the bottom of the screen next time you see the advert.

Well I've been eating Maccy Dees since they came out and at 75 in 2 weeks time, I'm fit as a fiddle and still going strong, I also smoke, drink, take loads of salt on my chips, 3 spoons of sugar in my mug of tea and I've just eaten my daily bacon sandwich with 4 pieces of back. I suppose it's the bowl of porridge that's keeping me alive.

The only vice i have is the occasional cigar when I'm at the snooker club.. apart from that, nothing..

I would say enjoy your life and not worry about having the occasional unhealthy treat, be it a pint, a cigarette or a Burger King (or whatever you consistute as a treat.)

You are right that every BK should honour this deal, but as they are all franchised, the stores that have captive markets, such as service stations or train stations, typically do not participate in the offers.

i'm i right in saying every burger shld have this deal as i was refused it at the Burger King in Victoria station? :disappointed:

Yep, I've had it a few times with the fries as part of the £1.99 deal. I'd imagine it's not some bizarre isolated deal for my store, considering the full designed overhead card.

I would have to say it depends on other aspects of your life - we all have our vices, it's about finding a balance between them :wink:

The problem is how one defines moderation. Is it once a day? Once a week or even once a year?

It's like for example, smoking - even one fag will contribute to a shortened lifespan, be it a few seconds.. it all adds up..

Nobody is saying it's healthy - you're not going to drop dead from the occasional burger and fries. Like anything else, moderation is key :smiley:

It's a well know fact actually... if you think burgers and fries are healthy, you need to do some serious homework on the basics..

I tried this offer today and was dissappointed. I was left wishing I had paid £1 extra to get a Whopper instead!

They've been printing vouchers in the Metro a lot this week, if that helps anyone. Think there's some in today's edition. All expire on 31/03/17 though.

Right the app... For ages I was having chicken Royal n fries for 1.99. then it vanished, wiped app data and won't reappear. Even tried another phone, diff account etc.

But only this week I saw the voucher still advertised in the paper for 1.99 chicken Royal and fries.... Is it there for you?
