I sympathise fella, I have a couple of friends/family members with similar issues . . . I usually substitute (the Grapefruit) with bitter lemon and freshly squeezed lime juice (that is mixed with a quarter teaspoon of sugar before adding to the bitter lemon mixer) it sounds weird but generally works very well, play around with it and see how you get on.
Another alternative that works is using Cachaca diluted with 7up/Sprite/Lemonade.

This size was discounted a while ago in favour of taller 200ml bottles, so I'd imagine these are coming towards their Best Before date?

The only Low Cal version in my stores was a tonic water which I avoid, I did buy regular tonic.

Managed to also pick up some Grapefruit in another store so very pleased. Thanks the machman.
I use the Tomato in various differing Bloody Marys.
Both the Pineapple and Orange in the Painkiller Cocktail.
The Grapefruit is great with Mezcal and/or Tequila in cocktails like The Spicy Paloma.

Daft question but do you just mix these with gin or vodka etc? Can you add soda or something too to make it a longer drink?
My usual poison is wine

They are either tonic, giunger beer or fruit juices. I guess you could mix the juices with lemonade if you wanted. I got pineapple and grapefruit ones this lunchtime.
