With an 8kg drum, this condenser tumble dryer from Bosch is great for medium-sized households. This model uses sensor drying to automatically detect the moisture levels in each load and adjust the cycle so that it stops when your laundry is dry. This gives your clothes more protection from heat and helps to save energy. There are 15 programmes to choose from, including a special wool programme that uses a gentle temperature and spin speed, so your delicate fabrics last for longer. This 8kg washing machine from Samsung delivers brilliant results with every wash - it's perfect for medium sized households. It features Samsung’s unique AddWash door, which means you can add in any stray items of clothes, even after the wash has started. Special ecoBubble technology gives fabrics a deep clean, even at lower temperatures. It mixes together detergent and water before the cycle starts, creating soapy bubbles that soak into fabrics forty times faster than detergent alone. VRT technology keeps vibration to a minimum so this model runs super-quietly.
This model comes with a 5 year warranty for added peace of mind.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to tell you Beko have fire starting issues or Bosch are better.
I'd have the Beko, found the Beko products I've had to be very reliable. Current Beko condenser has been in daily use for three years. As is the case with all tumble dryers, keep them lint free, it's great for starting fires.

I've bought 2 Bosch tumble dryers in the past. The first which was a vented model lasting 17 years and changed the heater element once. The second was a condenser model which lasted under 3 years and had an issue cutting out with a suspected overheating problem. Changed all 3 heat sensors and still an issue so went back to a vented model to cut losses.

I'm not sure how codensers rate in general in terms of reliability, but in cotrast to what you went through, we bought one when we moved in to our house 16 years ago, and it's never given us a single problem. It's used on a regular basis too.
Ours is a Hotpoint for what it's worth.

Condensers drop the water into an internal drawer that you pull out and empty into the sink or toilet etc, so no need for an external pipe.
They are quite expensive to run, but are really handy in the winter/wetter months, when it's harder to dry the washing outside.
Just make sure you keep on top of cleaning the filter etc, as ours, and I would assume most of them, get quite hot on longer runs, and I could see overheating being possible if not looked after.

Hi, since you have one, i have a question. Installation wise, does the pipe need to run off somewhere or can it drain internally to a drawer i can empty?
