As a comparison,

Surf on sale @ Asda £4.50 for 3.185kg or 0.708kg per £1
Bold was £11.37 for £8.4kg or 0.739kg per £1

so £11.37 will buy you 8.05kg of Surf compare to 8.4kg of Bold. In other words by spending £11.37 on 6 boxes of Bold, you are getting approximately 350g more washing powder. (5 more washes)
