It looks fine most of the time, but really goes to **** on the CGI heavy scenes and can be quite jarring... I wouldn't let it put you off though.

You could not be more wrong. The transfer for the original blu-ray to Jurassic Park was and still is outstanding. The 3D blu-ray was an absolute disaster of a transfer.
Feel free to use that for comparison against the 3D version and DVD version (which is just horrid). The 3D version of JP is a why DNR causes loss of detail.
-OP heat for a good price.

Oof, I already have the first film but have a soft spot for the third one (and the second one is daft as hell and makes Jurassic World look like Super Mario Bros). Tempted...

Quite like the 2nd one despite it's problems. Has a couple of amazing sequences (far better than the fourth imo)

Brilliant Films , genius concept, and still thoroughly watchable over and over . I've already got the DVD box set which i paid £10 for a while back but I bet these look stunning on Blu ray . Heat added for such a great price
I saw it in the cinema when they rereleased it back in 2011 and it looked very ropey in places then. Bought the standalone disc (which is based off the same transfer as this) and it had the same issues. Scenes like the two Brachiosaurus in the lake for example are just plain horrible to look at.
The majority of the film looks great though, so like I said I wouldn't let it put anybody off. I can't comment on the rest of the trilogy either (apparently the third film is a cracking transfer)
Hell, I'm going to double dip now myself!

Just a general FYI, obviously doesn't apply here as there is some time before that expiry date but I picked up the final season of Breaking Bad Blu-Ray from Poundland (for a £1 unbelievably ) The expiry date was 31/12/206 but I managed to successfully add it to my Sony Pictures UltraViolet account yesterday. Just thought I'd mention it if anyone picks up a Blu-Ray with a past expiry date you may still be able to redeem the UltraViolet code so worth a try.

Nice deal, good set of films. Still hold up well for the kids!

They're pretty unmemorable films compared to the first one in fairness.
Second one has that bit where the TRex goes on a rampage through a city, but beyond that I can barely remember it.
Third film... Erm... Eh....
Probably relative to the number of times I've watched them too though

Yeah that's Sony. Both Warner and Sony titles should still redeem. Universal's however are expiring

If so the transfers are supposedly very good..
