That's OK. But my phone allows very limited access to SD card Android 6.

Android 6 combines phone memory and sd card memory.

So worst case scenario is you will still be able to make and receive calls but internet will only be 3g?

O2 actually use another 4G band as well in some places (1800MHZ?), I definitely get occasional 4G on my Redmi 3 Pro.

Depends what you need, 3G is fast enough for me on O2 and coverage seems excellent for talk and text.

I have one and can confirm it's got bloatware but could be easily rooted and removed other than that battery is ok could be better. It's a slippery fella I bought an aftermarket rear battery case. The phone is ok. I'm using Talktalk and EE and I've slapped in a 64gig card.. :wink:

I have ordered same one on friday £120 has band 20 for the full 4g uk coverage i needed. Processor in the special edition is actually more powerful than the newer version. 3gb ram think enough 32gb. IR blaster port sadly no NFC for android pay.

This Asus ZenFone 2 is upgradable to android 6. Your right its not a windows phone. I looked and considered this phone but was my second choice paid the extra for the Xiaomi SE

This is ​The best phone you can buy for the money at the minute. They do a band 20 version too if the 4g bothers you. I have the 3g version and it is still very slick browsing and watching stuff due to the spec of the phone hardware.

I don't want to rush the delivery as don't want to increase risk on tax/admin charges. slow delivery always worked for me. I played with shipping to the USA in quote section to add to basket then switched shipping back to UK to save the warranty. I have mobile insurance anyway and can't see me posting anything back to China. Even now at £130 think worth the extra. I looked at the specs. the bigger battery I think I need mind you it's not got quick charge 2.

I can't emphasise enough that it is not merely a case of does my network have other bands, but a case of will I get slower speeds or no 4G in some areas; YES! As for will those areas be where I live/work/gym/socialise; who knows & who is to say that your network won't change things around (moving to or from the band you are missing)?

That quite clearly shows it will not work on O2 4G. I mean you guys go ahead if you want I am not here to stop you, just trying to help.

It's not about what it can do, it's about what you receive when you buy.

I think you mean that android 6 gives you the option of using an sd card as internal storage. Yes this a feature, but only fast cards are suitable. If a card is deemed too slow, it won't let you use it. And not all devices offer this feature. There are workarounds but they mostly require root access and fiddling around with partition types and sizes. Best to check if this handset supports it before buying.

The Santander app works just fine

All banking apps apart from Barclays work fine on this phone.

I bought this phone 2 years ago, have a 128gb sd card installed. Apps can be transferred to sd after installation. Great phone, good battery and two sim cars slots, downside is data only works on sim1 slot. Bargain at this price.

Only ask cos it says different in the phone specs.

Yes, I have Vodaphone in one and Network 3 in other, 3 sim only takes voice and text. SD card has its own slot.

That makes a difference how? You're still importing from non-EU AND the government here require you to DECLARE it so they can charge you TAX/DUTY .

This would work on TalkTalk mobile network ok (which I believe is Vodafone)? I don't live in a 4G area and it doesn't bother me much to be on 'just' 3G, as long as that works. Not too sure about the volume rocker switch on the back though, anyone have any experiences with this they could share?

From what i understand, 1,800 MHz 4G is partially supported depending on location - they're refarming it for better 4G service (this was in 2015 so who knows where they've got to on that..)

Volume switch works fine, have mine in a flip case too. It works well on 4G on the 3 network, though I am a cheepo Talktalk customer, and its only3G. Had a trial with Freedompop, (uses 3, 4G) Back to Talktalk as cheaper contract. Freedompop in 2nd sim slot now for free calls, text..

Strange, never had a battery problem, on saver goes for days..... Lot depends on which apps you have pinging network. Out of interest what clock speed is your processor running at ? There are two types fitted.

Mine is the 4gb ram, 64gb spec. Think its the 2.4g version. It's the highest spec model. And the fast charge has stopped working too :disappointed:

I suppose it depends on what apps each person is using and for how long etc.. Either way this is a deal and it's good enough I suppose... I was thinking of opening it up and checking whether I could find a higher rated battery that measured perfectly inside and slapping it in! :wink:

You are actually wrong (that table is out of date). Not a huge difference as they have very little other band 4G. I strongly agree not to buy a no band 20 phone for the UK.
