Why is it always this specific model, plus the 8Gb version, thats always on sale, any reason?

Hi guys can whoever got their card confirm that it works? Many people who bought the 8gb model from awd-it are having problems with 3d mark and their turning off during high loads while playing games

Rumour mill has 4th April for the 580 and 570 cards, personally I would wait that long and see.

It should be noted that there are rumors floating on popular review sites that the 560/570/580 is a rebrand of the 460/470/480.

So, if you wait, you may just be faced with a card that operates a few mhz higher, but cost a higher price as well.

Got it yesterday and it was super noisy running at load, messing about with a few settings though improved the situation to the point where it wasn't a problem for me though, and at safe temperatures.

If you guys don't wanna do Flubit also it's available on Overclockers for the same price as Amazon with Doom.

Can't argue with performance though. Best at this price point almost across the board.

Heat...it was £4 cheaper on AWD-IT yesterday but they seemed to have put it up to match this price now :P

Hmm, I wonder if these will price drop more as the newer cards are coming out soon.

Well Nvidia announced some new cards and all the graphics cards have dropped in price. If you look on camelcamelcamel, you will see this card deep straight down.

Though personally i'm annoyed because i sent it through flubit the other day when it was £164.99 and got £150.55 back and paid it :stuck_out_tongue:
