You seem worked up
I'd probably spend the 10p and get started if I was you.

If only we could find 1000 of these 1p savings each month, Play Music would pay for itself!

McDonalds have had billions of hamburger sales. The Sun has the highest circulation out of any newspaper in the UK.
Does that mean that they're both good?

Meh. Fair dig, albeit a little childish.
I mean in terms of getting those accolades, it must be scores from Apple App Store...?

Maybe so, but I wasn't serious, just replied to your comment, saw an opportunity and seized the chance :stuck_out_tongue: as for the second part of your comment I have no idea what you talkin bout.

Yeah, doesn't make sense, sorry. I was meant to say that this app has won awards per the OP.
However, in the Play store, this app shows 1000 downloads which isn't enough to be representative of those awards (for this Android version). Some apps can have shoddy ports coming from other platforms. Still 4.5 rating isn't bad at all

On a serious note, if anyone is genuinely interested in meditation and in particularly, mindfulness meditation, I'd highly recommend the guided mediation CD course from the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (part of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust). Obviously, it's more expensive than this 10p app but it's a proper, clinically approved mindfulness mediation course and very accessible and easy to get into as well.
The very best meditations for the modern stressed out humans are the Osho active meditations, Dynamic Meditation and Kundalini meditation,Dynamic in the Morning and Kundalini in the evening, Both are on Youtube and you do them exactly as described by Osho himself and there are many other Osho meditations that can really help and transform yourself.

There's a famous quote about how you should meditate 20 minutes a day and if you are too busy to meditate for 20 minutes then meditate for 40 minutes a day as you are clearly in need of it even more.
The idea of a 'very best' meditation is alien to a meditative mindset as it's subjective so if you are thinking that way maybe it's time you found a meditation that takes you deeper!
I've studied with various shamans and yogis and in comparison I wasn't that impressed with the level of consciousness I witnessed at Osho Leela. I do like some of Osho's teachings but his organisation especially the commune they had in Oregon was seriously out of wack.
Namaste.

This is the most hard hitting meditation and should be done at 6am to set you up for the day, It is quite physical ,
listen very carefully to the instructions from Osho himself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPvHJDUO6YM

In terms of books, John Kabat-Zin's book is also worth reading (though it's not a course as such).
