Is it just me, but I have found their fresh produce not lasting as long as it used to in comparison to fresh (albeit slightly more expensive) stuff from Asda. Having said that, their (Aldi's) pricing has made a big difference to the likes of Asda, Tesco's etc.,

Definately will buy these, shallots plus chestnut mushrooms make a stunning risotto, but make sure you add a juicy fried lemon to the recipe. This is my fave accompaniment to a piece of fish such as salmon.
