Kind of. But this one you only activate once and it's then activated on your eBay account for the duration.
There are other retailers on Nectar where you do need to click through every time.

"Oh, I must buy there because I get points" when (as you mentioned) in most cases, the points are quite literally pennies.

I don't bother buying stuff off ebay even when Nectar have the x10 points promo - unless I would have bought it any way. It's a scam.
I think 500 pts are worth £2.50!!! You'd have to spend £125 on ebay this week to gain £2.50, or on a normal day, £500!!!
