It has the space for dual slots, but it's wifi only.

I called JL as needed clarification about their stock, I had looked up differences of the model in advance ... There are 2 almost identical versions being sold online with exactly the same title "Lenovo TAB3 7 Essential". The Model:TB3-710F is the one with only a memory card slot. The model: TB3-710I is the one that also has a Microsimcard slot right next to the memory card slot. They do not currently hold stock for the I version of it, but did not seem to realise there was 2 versions that look and are called the same thing. So what they currently have in stock and are selling does not have the 2nd slot for mobile internet - could perhaps stick a dongle in tho?

Because a fair few sim enabled Android tablets have that availability, I have a 8" Huawei from o2 Refresh unlocked with a Three sim, 200MB free and the 3/2/1p plan - use it for email via wifi but handy incase EE/Plusnet signal is not available, I also have TalkMobile & o2 payg sims in a dual sim cheapo handset. I can cross sims at any point to a 3/4G voice capability 8" tablet or i6S if I need coverage, very handy even using it on the o2 payg sim with sat nav and forwarding calls to it driving through places or visiting new places I have no idea of coverage.

I don't think this is the cellular version anyway, my guess is instead of Micro SIM, the tablet can actually take a Micro SD.
