Unfortunately account specific. I held off when mine expired last week. Best I saw was £1 for a month, so bit at that. Fingers crossed next month will bring a yearly offer

I put this 'deal' last night on the last Xbox Live thread of a week ago. This isn't really a deal if it's not available to all.
I used a redeemable code last year, which is why I have the offer this year. Most companies use this 'Test & Target' marketing method to get sales they would not otherwise get.
Just goes to show how much commission Microsoft have to pay (or discount given ) to outlets, if it warrants them offering this king of deal.
Poor Microsoft and their marginalised profits

This same type of ad got infinite cold the other day because this is not a deal, but a special particular offer for some specific users with some specific characteristics. Why does it get so hot now?

My current sub runs out next Wednesday, but no sign of any offer price, so looks like best I'm going to get is with CD Keys, using FB link for extra 5% off... :disappointed:

I only get offered 1 month for £2 on my dashboard! Not even the 1 month for £1 deal that has existed since time immemorial.

I didn't have the advert for Gold on my dashboard but it still had the offer when I tried to buy gold, so it's worth checking.

I got this after mine was due to expire at the beginning of the month. I checked every week for the three weeks prior to this and I was only offered the 1 month. My advice is to hold off and they will offer you the 12 month deal either right before it expires or just after. Keep checking!

Can confirm account specific. Lucky if you've got it! The offer on my dashboard is "renew for 12 months at £39.99 and get 1 month EA Access for free" - crap.

Remember the days of the £1 per month renewal that let you stack.
I got 36 months for £36.
