These were £1 for the last four or five weeks in Tesco!! I was asking staff about them the other day (why they were £1 but similar ones £2/4) and he said they'd received a big delivery for end of aisle offer so the price would be going up!
Also the Harry Ramsden version marked as £4 scanning as £1 and that's four large portions. Unfortunately this is not a deal as it's 100% more than the introductory price!!

Quite.
So if we were to replace the inaccurate words from the product name instead of "Youngs Extra Large Cod Fillets" we'd have :"Youngs medium formed cod"

there was a time when these used to be amazing and I always got them.
But nowadays they are not the same, the quality of the fish is awful. Ive stopped buying them ages ago.

Agree.
" Extra Large Formed Cod Fillets in Batter "
It's a real cheek that something actually constructed from bits and pieces is allowed to be called 'fillets'. Same with chicken 'fillets' and 'whole' scampi.

The Harray Ramsden 4 x large battered cod was £1 instead of £4 in my local Tesco and Mcains 1.5kg home chips are still 63p. Both were RTC so not in all stores.
