Thanks for this tip. I'm looking at for my young son just to play Minecraft. Basic question but... can anyone tell me if you need to have an ongoing Xbox live subscription when you buy an Xbox?

Tesco Direct is a better option in my opinion as you get Xbox One 500gb minecraft console + Forza Horizon 3 + 2000 Extra Clubcard points for £219.99. If you value the points at x2 this puts the console around £160 given Forza is worth around £20
Thanks for the reply. I'll probably hold off then and see if any better deals come up. The second pad isn't essential but would come in handy coz when him and his sister are actually getting on they play their consoles together.

I dont see this as an amazing deal.
Does he need a second pad? Probably not.
My mates used to bring their pads round whenever we did anything split screen... which with Xbox Live nowadays is just never.
