I'm a primary teacher and I can tell you that his books are immensely popular with the kids . A lot of people (not children but rather adults) are likening his work to Ronald Dahl.

I'm not sure where I'm going wrong but it seems to me you need to spend £10 on books to get the deal!? I have prime.

Book shops will have the world book day books for £1 though as usual, and you can use your world book day token ( given out at pre schools, schools etc) to make them free, so not sure why this is a deal ? Genuinely curious......

Amazon are rolling out the classics for World Book Day then?

Of course.
But then again, these may become the classics of the future, and they are published specifically for World Book Day to try and encourage young readers. Given that kids should get a £1 off voucher from their schools (certainly at primary age), they are, in effect, free.
