We have a set of these, cannot fault them. The range is excellent, we have one of the receivers in a conservatory and it works fine through multiple brick walls etc. The receivers also have some rather interesting tones.

It looks like quality is a bit random. Have a look at 1 star reviews on Amazon, Shame I was considering buying it. :disappointed:

Sorry to be dumb, but does this offer mean 2 of packs of "1byone Easy Chime Wireless Doorbell Door Chime Kit, 1 Plug-in Receiver & 1 Battery Operated Receiver & 1 Push Button" for £14.31, and if so how do I get the discount?
Thanks

Bought two of these sets (the 2nd set just for the 2 receivers/chime boxes)... live in a 3 storey house, and works across all floors with no issues... paid £12.99 each time

Quality is mixed, some good bits some bad bits. I had to get 3 orders put out to me to get 1 set to work, Once I had this done then it works well 99% of the time. Must have been my bad luck to get bits that did not work or work properly .

To the guys who have these, what kind of distance can you get the battery operated receiver to work? I'm looking at one for my parents - when my father is working out in the garage he can't hear someone at the gate, it's maybe 15m with 2 walls between. So having this work one receiver in the house and one in the garage would be ideal, if the signal reaches.
What's the after sales line with this company?

Dont know about after sales other than Amazon return's usually easy to get refund within 30days!
Had mine since beginning of last month as far as I know they are the first wireless DB to work with no problems, have approximately a distance of 10m+/33ft+ one is upstairs in the rear bedroom, other downstairs! Bell push button is on middle of upvc front door which will have metal reinforced material, which most wireless Bell's manufacturers donot reccomend installing Bell button onto!

I had one that worked fine for a couple of weeks, then gradually became completely unreliable. It's about 5 feet from the receiver but only works 1 time in 10

Was there any improvement in performance when you replaced battery in Bell button also re siteing bell recievers?

Like I said earlier, got one in the kitchen (5 metres from doorbell) and one up stairs (about 7 metres away)
The signal first need to go through my porch or even an 18 inch thick stone wall, then through two 10 inch brick walls plus whatever furniture is in the way.
Never failed me in two months as yet

So the returns are through Amazon then? So if I get it and there's an issue then it's them I deal with not "Byone Products Inc"?
Seems like this is the standard price with that seller (or has been since July), so no rush to buy. It seems like a pretty good deal to me unless someone else has a better suggestion?

Not bad but the kingavon ones at the range are cheaper. Whatever you do DONT buy the Lloytron one that comes with the portable receiver as well as the plug in one. It's rubbish.

The only ones I can see at Range are single receiver kits, not doubles like these.

They have them in my local store or at least they did. I bought one so I could have one in the hall and one in the upstairs study. Got fed up of missing parcel deliveries whilst I was working upstairs lol. perhaps not stocked national at Range stores. Also cheaper than standard Amazon price but perhaps not Prime. I seem to remember mine was about £15.00. Not everyone has Prime.

I have one of these and very pleased with it. portable receiver unit which you can wall mount using screws provided or,as I do, move to bedroom or kitchen when I don't think I'll hear the doorbell (I'm hard of hearing). I haven't tried in the garden yet. The receiver also flashes when doorbell is pressed which is an additional help to me. Interesting range of polyphonic tunes Inc Xmas ones! The volume can be turned up fairly loud. had it for a year and it's worked perfectly. I know some people have left the transmitter upstairs with a bedridden relative and used as an "alarm". Highly recommend.

Be warned, only 1 of the 36 melodies is anything like an actual doorbell, the rest are all stupid polyphonic ringtones like you'd get on a 15 year old mobile phone.

I moved the receiver closer with no result. It's possible it's the battery, but given that it happened within a few weeks, and doesn't get a lot of use, it would mean it eats batteries at a tremendous rate

It I was you I would return for replacement, probably just a faulty one!

Had mine since December and still going strong, no problems. I just use the default chime as I think the other sounds and melodies are a bit harsh and silly! I've installed one recieved upstairs and other downstairs working fine, clear and loud volume.

I think I'll get one, but I might go for the kit with 2 mains powered units instead of the battery powered one

Almost got into an argument with the neighbours over this. I thought they were ringing and running, but of course my chime rings at a push of their transmitter.
I've thrown the packaging and can't see any way to change channel. Anyone know if you can?

I've got mine but God, it's a struggle getting into it to put the cr2032 battery into the transmitter! I'm worried I'll break it - the plastics really soft
