Thought this may be of interest to anyone who hasn't the room for a full size garden incinerator. Just bought one from Amazon for £11.00 and thought that was a good deal, but saw this little incinerator in store at wilko. Found it useful for destroying papers e.c.t. efficiently and safely. Can be stored out of the way easily.

Make a free one from an old washing machine drum. They make phenomenal incinerators and can double as BBQs.
used to have that problem but if you cut the body onto small enough pieces.....you'll soon get the job done, if your wife knew you were skipping corners disposing of her body she would be in bits.......oh wait a minute

I don't like the word incinerator

Get the full size one, it does not take up much more space.
With the mini the air holes quickly become blocked off by ash and things then burn incredibly slowly.
Garden incinerator is a must have with amazon prime sub.

great find. Our council are bringing in ridiculous recycling changes over the next few months and this is a great way of getting rid of it.
When I say ridiculous recycling I mean:
1 bag for cardboard
1 bag for paper
1 box for glass
1 box for plastic and tin
1 box for food waste
1 box for nappies
and two bags per fortnight
You cannot even take black bags to the local tip...
Burn baby burn!

Wow do you have them all separate outside your door, Id have no space!! All our recycling goes together in 1 bin and glass I have to take to the bottle bank myself.

Surely cardboard and paper can go together? They're basically the same thing! I don't envy you. And what are they gonna do with the nappies?!?! You'll probably see an increase in fly-tipping as a result of this

Could be even worse, saw something on TV a few days ago about a council switching to monthly collections for black bags.
Thankfully, we still get weekly collections for black bags and food waste, and have a couple of boxes for plastic bottles + tins and carboard + paper, collected on alternate weeks. I think we average about 3 black bags a week and that's with recyling everything the council collects and taking all our glass to the bottle bank.

You'll get done for smoke nuisance. Hah.

yeah we have to separate them all before putting them out. They are giving us a roll of 52 bags so that we can only put out the correct amount and of course, if you run out early they will know.
Currently paper and cardboard go together but for some reason they are getting rid of this.
My plan was to do more trips to the tip with extra rubbish in black bags but as I mentioned, they have stopped that now as everything has to be separated in the same way as it is put out for the collection.
I am not looking forward to it at all but I think you are right , it will encourage fly-tipping

local council sent me a letter saying garden waste will cost £30 a year from April. so I've two options, incinerate it or cough up. I think incinerate is cheaper and more fun

Council are pretty nuts luckily for me I live in a poor area so if they tried that sort of stuff people would just go medieval and pour it all on the road...
How do they justify it, if we all pay the same council tax that we have always paid how can they cut a service surely it costs what its always cost? My mum lives in a posh area and she gets a tiny bin a bag and a box... I'm poor so I get 3 bins lol.. Everyone will just start burning suppose will keep the fire brigade going, actually they knocked my local one down  .
