Just in case anyone's wary of GM products, Waitrose are the only supermarket (as far as I'm aware) that guarantee that none of the animals that produce their meat had GM feed, the only way that GM is allowed in to the European food chain under EU rules.

Well, problem is not GM (gm corn, etc won't kill you very fast) but antibiotics which those chicken getting due living in high volume on small area (diseuses spreading very quickly). Anyway...regulations, yeah. Just waiting for some noise like with Audi (or whatever that was) and CO2 emissions. Just saying, fence is to keep blind sheep in place, but fox will always find a way.

GM can be used in food and sold in the EU, as long as it is labelled. Also, non-GM food has a contamination threshold so it can contain a certain amount of GMO (although the percentage is small).
