They are discontinued stock, I work in Tesco and grabbed a box in Whiteley. None left now.

Our shopping bill has reduced! Is it a surprise, no. They won't even rise after Brexit, there is simply too much competition out there. Look at the Marmite scare and others... all back to original prices or even lower in some supermarkets. THEY want your money and they have to fight for it. Bank of England just announced far higher growth for this year now! Like petrol, we are being ripped off currently, but it will come back down. None of it is sustainable.
As for Weetabix, it's the best way to buy is in the 72 box ones. Weetabix is up for sale (company) - you do know like many Brit companies it isn't! 60 per cent of Weetabix is owned by the ...CHINESE! Like the business I'm in, it was once ALL British, the British names are retained but it's all owned by the FRENCH! We lost the plot somewhere along the line, but hey ho, it's what the packet of Weetabix costs you. Wait until they are at their cheapest - last pack 72 I bought was 3.99 in Morrisons. They last usually long enough till the next time they get reduced (and they will!) so no hardship - at all! Only the **** who buy at full price of between 6 & 7 quid a pkt of 72 lose out. That's their fault for not shopping around. Food today is cheaper than it's ever been - IF you shop around. Obviously, not everyone can do it, and I feel for them. If something is too dear or at it's usual rip-off price this week, DON'T buy it... wait and it will come down or be cheaper in another supermarket or shop. Guaranteed! It's a buyer's market today. If you can't see that, you'll get ripped off.

I was referring to the pound situation after the referendum and the buying of goods, not just from Europe, but the world. Britain is also a member of the Commonwealth of nations whom we have had trade deals with way before the EU even existed.

Exactly, people seem to forget that the Banks and any kind of food manufacturers essentially work for and around us - the consumer.. No consumer, no sales... There is far too much competition to say "right, I'm going to increase my price so tough" because if they do that, the next company will say "right, we can benefit from them increasing their price and offer something different".. Most branded stuff is way overpriced anyway compared to the supermarket brands which can be just as good.

​really mine has gone up the things which have gone up but to name a few are these butter,milk, yoghurt,sugar,flour fish chicken and meat,potatoes,spinach,onions,coriander yes the last three usually go up every year but not by as much as this year spinach and coriander has never gone over 2 bunches for 1 pound this year it's gone upto 1 bunch for 1 pound. and so on I assume you haven't bought any of these in last few months then.
