Sure and is that the OPs fault? Its a good price for those with Ikea nearby.

So it is unnecessary for a lot of people, yet necessary for a lot of people. What's your point?

We all know how busy it is, as you have plenty of time to post facetious comments on this post !

Considering that a significant majority of the UK population live at urban population centres hence within a decent distance of an IKEA store, I would say that delivery is an unnecessary option for a LOT of people.

I had a look at one of these, I got inside and the back opened, I walked through and found myself in a magical restaurant serving meatballs.

Ok I'll give you that maybe OP should have said collection only or stated delivery price. But I'm sure the few extra minute or so finding delivery charge has not endangered your life and busy schedule.

I don't know - would they cost around the same amount as the wardrobe?

Did you want the OP to also include petrol costs to collect instore too? Or add on the cost of a the obligatory hotdogs too? (or is that just me?)

No, but that small detail was conspicuously absent.

Considering there are only ~20 stores in the whole country, I would say that delivery is the only viable option for a LOT of people.

Well yes if you have to have it delivered.... £35 delivery charge is a fixed price no matter you are buying only one piece of furniture or furnitures for your entire house iirc so someone would find it to be all right.

So the bottom-line cost of the wardrobe is almost twice the advertised price...

Hi, do you know if the finish is a gloss or matt white please? Hard to tell from the photos and can't see it written anywhere. £39 is a bargain. Thanks.

It's £39 online too.
But delivery for me is £35...

Ikea delivery is always £35 for everyone anywhere.... except small items can be delivered using normal carrier service which cost about £7
