I wonder how long it'll be before Cadburys owners give up on Roses completely?

Not a Rose's fan, but a good deal for those living near enough. Still £5 in my local one yesterday.

Unfortunately the Cadbury's Roses we all grew up and loved have disappeared. If you examine carefully the plastic container it states "Made Under License"*, which is very suspicious. Not only have Mondelez changed the wrappers, but many of the traditional soft centre creams were removed, and the chocolates are all an uniform shape. The problem though is the horrendous taste of the Chocolate, it's intensely sweet, has a coconut taste (palm oil), and a sickly artificial aftertaste. Gone is the balanced earthy, milky cocoa taste which made Cadbury's chocolate. Avoid at all costs.
*Is this due to moving the production temporarily to Poland as the Birmingham facilities were being refurbished?

Not national - just back from our Asda and no tins of roses in it at this price. Would have got some if they had.
