Why? They'll get fewer people turning up. Do you think Adele would rather perform a concert in London or Rotherham?

I feel for people who live away from the major cities. I've spent time in Great Yarmouth & it felt like a million miles away, lol.

All gone sadly. I went along to one of these for the 3DS launch - was worth it to get to play with the console pre launch but we were also given goodie bags with various promo bits including a T-Shirt and as it was the 3DS, some AR cards. Nice souvenir

I tried one in the Arndale, don't recall a goodie bag but I do recall it made me feel sick, so didn't buy one.

If only I'd seen this earlier - the event's about a minute from where I work!
Ah, it was posted in Computers rather than Gaming, that'll be why I missed it yesterday.

This is honestly totally ridiculous to have super limited events in a super limited amount of locations. What's so hard about having proper demo locations in stores like most other system releases in the past?

Birmingham this morning - really good. Splatoon 2, MARIO Kart, Zelda all looking really good on Switch - perhaps less good on the big screens but still OK. Guessing the balls inside the controller, milking cows and quick draw .... good Nintendo stuff. I'm decided- buy

While highly speculative and unlikely - if anyone were to end up with a ticket for Manchester on Friday evening that they didn't want, I'd be extremely grateful to take it off your hands.

how you do at the balls, could feel rhem rattling but no way could I count.
Splattoon was amazing, not sure why cause similar to first. maybe it was the joypad and not gamepad.
and zelda, was gutted when got tap on shoulder was like but I only just started exploring

I think you had to work out how many times it vibrated... I was constantly one ball too short :disappointed: Not sure about everyone else but we got given time slots for Zelda, so had to wait an hour to play what felt like 10 minutes... and half of that was a cut-scene thing so couldn't even play it! I wouldn't say it was a disappointment but they could have limited he number or people (split over several more days/locations) and given people a really good go on the main games like Zelda and Mario. I can't decide wether to spend £300 on a console after playing it for 10 minutes here and there

unlucky, we had time slot, walked up at around that time and went on next round 5 minute wsit maybe. played splatoon twice, mario kart twice and one go everything else. thought well organised with helpfull staff and not at all pushy or over top.

Yeah I don't have a bad word to say about the staff, they were excellent. X) They were enthusiastic and knowledgable and really really got stuck into it!
