Good deal. I've got the spark 3 cardio which has the built in heart rate monitor. Decent watch and the spark is being phased out I guess. There's not much difference between the spark and spark 3 either so a great price. This doesn't include the headphones as it would be advertised as music+headphones if it did so you'll still need to buy the bluetooth headphones to be able to listen to the music. It's an extra £49.99 for the tomtom headphones.

At the bottom in the "Whats in the box" section it says:
"TomTom Runner 2/Spark Sports bluetooth headphones, TomTom Watch Charging Cable, User Guide"

I know it says in the box but they won't be unless you tick the option for them. You'll notice it's the same headphones TomTom Runner 2/Spark Sports Bluetooth Headphones. If you're expecting them then I'd ring to check if it includes them first.

There are 2 types of headphones. One is £49.99 and when selected add that amount to the total. The other headphones are unpriced and don't add any amount when selected. Could mean they're not added at all or could mean they're not charged for.

Called to enquire re headphones and the question has gone to product line to confirm. They are calling back with an answer today.

Anyone know what this is like as a silent vibrating alarm ?
I have just had what is supposed to be a decent Timex to do the job, but once again the vibration is very disappointing to me.
I have tried other the pebble time and Sony Smart watch 3 and found those weak too.

For me, if you select the large strap, the headphones don't add any price. It shows in 'in the box'

Same here, I've got pretty small wrists (approx 165mm) so would prefer the small straps but the bluetooth headphones would be a nice bonus

Well its advertised as a music watch...and to listen to the music you need to spend another £49.99 with them...so in fairness I think they either need to market it as a fitness watch with the ability to listen to music as a cost option, or include them.

Alarm - yes, though a cursory googling reveals it's quite simple functionality wise
Notifications - 99.9% sure it doesn't.

Never buy a tomtom product. I followed their instructions to the letter on a recommended update and it killed my satnav - they refused to repair so I will do what i promised them I would do and warn people at every opportunity.

Sorry to hear that but in comparison, I've had nothing but great service from them.

no notification functions as TT believe detracts from the purity of the device's focus as a fitness accessory .
I've been using TT watches since their early offerings. The recent update to allow 20 playlists over the initial 10 playlists is a welcome update on the Runner2 / Spark watch Personally I don't think the upgrade to the Spark /runner 3 is justified as as seriously I don't watch to be squinting at a screen to follow an uploadedtrail on the spark 3. I run in familiar environments so don't need "trail" feature. I kinda like the older chunkier straps too ( wider 3 rows of holes strap). Trying to get the sporty green strap , sold out everywhere (even AMZN)..one seller actually has the green strap ( yes the strap alone) for 99£ on ebay!!

Shame it doesn't have a heart rate monitor. Even the crappy Cubot V2 has a heart rate monitor and costs about £15.

you could use a strap like one of those dual rate ( BTooth/ ANT+) Geonaute ones from Decathlon. Cheaper to buy the module and the strap separately instore as buying the whole kit ( strap+HRM module pack) costs £29.99


Personally I find HR measured at the heart ( chest) more reliable..as too many tendons and sinewy wrist hollows in the wrist area for reliable optical HR measurement during vigorous activity

I also prefer dualrate HRM monitors as overall I find devices with dedicated sports wireless ANT+ connections more reliable than Bluetooth radio connections. Having a strap that is capable of Bluetooth and also ANT+ is a bonus for me ..especially useful for phones that have the ANT channel capability ( S7, some high end sony's and that ZTE Axon mini

its not the service, its the products, although this product specifically hard to go wrong really, satnavs are half arsed and incomplete every time now, shame though they have great foundation of information to work with.

called up and they'll send a free pair of headphones out, they said it was a mistake.

When called they acknowledged it was a mistake on the website which is now rectified but since at the time of ordering it was advertised as included so they will ship the headsets out separately. I did'nt even have to ask him. As soon as he saw the order he agreed to ship the headsets out.

I ordered the watch yesterday received a email to say dispatched today I have just called to check if headphones are included he said there was a error on the website but are honouring the deal as it's their fault and will send out the headphones separately. Rang the number couple posts up, mentioned the headphones and how they used to be included but not anymore. asked if my order will have them. They know of the error and the time it was taken off the website. I got lucky and it was still on the website according to them (ordered 11-ish, am today).

Got my watch delivered yesterday. The Headset is on its way on a separate delivery thru UPS.

Fair play to TomTom. They could of cancelled orders or refused to supply the headphones like alot of other companies would have done. My headphones been sent today, waited till I received the watch to see what was in the package. Lisa was very helpful and knew straightaway when I phoned.

Ordered another seperately, dispatched different days both but were due on same delivery route.

I can see they're up to speed on it if they've had dozens of calls about it every day for the last week!

I got the same guy cesar someone got before was very good, apart from UPS decided to throw my watch over my gate. Luckily the watch survived lol. No headphones, but one phonecall to the number on here and my headphones have been honoured. Really love the watch its fab and no wonder its rated number 1 sports watch..absouletely fantastic..but the instructions were crap!

I'd say so. When most ordered it was an error on the website that stated the headphones were included in the box. This was rectified and no longer shows it. So they'd see when you ordered and know the website details where correct showing just the watch, cable and guide in the box

It probably depends on when you placed your order. If it's any help, I ordered mine on the 23rd Feb & it was delivered on 28th Feb. It was just the watch & no headphones in the package, so I rang tomtom up on the 1st March & spoke to Cesar who was very helpful. He said he would arrange for the headphones to be sent to me FOC.

Just a heads up, i couldnt get it to pair with my Sony headphones - also if you read on the TT site not many are supported, and depend on which wrist you wear the watch :O - didnt sound great.

I did get a cheap generic pair to work though.

I don't think this has ANY voice contact unless you'd take your phone with you. I've only looked at Google Fit and it doesn't even sync with that.

the watch wont work with any other app bar its own in my case the android version , and it only syncs the metrics it harvests during a run ..you can set goals. Moons ago I used to take my droid phone while wearing a chest strap on runs ,then discovered the TT watch which lightened the payload as I could leave the phone behind and just wear the strap.. over the past 9 mth been just using the built in optical HR ,optical not 100% reliable but I know my own body now so have a fair idea whats going on during my once-weekly 8m run.
On my return I sync my metrics to the Tomtom app which then bridges the data to my go-to app -Endomondo

whilst waiting for my ''free'' tom tom bluetooth headphones to come ive managed to sync the spark to 2 different sets of sony headphones, a set of jaybird imitations, a set of cyberblue cheapies and a aves bluetooth speaker all with no problems - takes a little while to pair first time around but all got there eventually

My cheapo Bluesim ones that saw me through the great north run have been fine.

Have to say this is a great bit of kit for the money.

If anyone's unsure, I'd recommend the size S straps from the Runner 3, they're a nicer colour and material.

when you initially set up your spark on your pc there is option to sync all data with most of the ''exercise'' sites such as strava. endomondo. mapmyrun etc - you just need to input your login details for the site you want to use - then when you sync your watch with the tom tom my sports app all your data is automatically synced over to the relevant site

i phoned TomTom but they wont send me the headphones withot proof of another order number that got them for free!

They'll match up your order number with that date you ordered. Clearly have a cut off date for the "as advertised".
If you provide one that was sent, again I assume it would need to be before this cut off.

FWIW I'm finding the headphones battery diminisihing, circa 3 hours full charge.

It's also difficult to remember to take them off charge (i.e overnight) as I'm unsure what or when full charge is reached!

The TomTom Sports app is updated though, even if the watch tech is still fairly archaic.
