so i have played the open beta and completed all mission and picked up all the inlet items. - Car still drive strange. - Car can drive up Boulders and drop from mounties and take little damage. - Car changing seat could be good if you can select what seat to pick (out of the 4 slots) - Character movement still feels chunky. E.G running and trying to do a fast 90 turn. - command wheel (rebel, regroup command) ask you to push X to conform actions (on PS4) after you have highlighted it. where in the division you would just highlight it so this slows game play down abit. - enemies are stupid E.G you kill one and then another enemies walks over him and does not set off the alarm. if they did bring this in they would have to make it so you can move dead body's. - Sniper Rifle with silencer is to long and when on your back goes trough the ground wile you walk/run or get in and out of cars. - Another issue i found but found on a motorbike driving down a hill and i hit a bolder my character flow half way across the map (died on impact tho) - parachuting should have a backup parachute. (so you can cut your old parachute if you to high then use your backup one)
apart from the above issues i did have fun and can see me paying the game but the lack of PVP in the game puts me off abit. i would love if you complete the game if you can get a option to become the bad guy (by taking over) or stay good then enter a PVP world
Edit: Something I did not try was friendly fire would be good if playing with others if you can damage them or makes there screen bluey for a couple of secs think this would make it a bit more fun wile doing missions.
Edit: about friendly fire. you can shot them but they take no damage, but can use C4, Grenades and so on to kill them. you can also run them over, but if they get in to a car and you blow up the car they take no damage.

I love the division and me and a couple of mates have recently restarted the co-op/single player story again. Yes it's repetitive but it is fun, especially with friends. I've preordered Wildlands but are the look and feel the same on both games? Hoping so....
Looking forward to playing the open beta when I finally get it downloaded!

This Ubisoft? Last 2 betas they had required uPlay and I don't have a uPlay account as I don't play Ubisoft games (generally most their output isn't my thing). Good for those who get it mind so vote up.

I doubt it. I was in the closed beta as well and the game was utter gash.

That's a fair point, however at least For Honor is an innovative game so it's starting from something new. Wildlands has nothing to offer I haven't already played endlessly in GTA/Saints Row/Just Cause/Assassins Creed etc.
I think I'm just being grumpy as I have such fond memories of the first ghost recon on the 360 :stuck_out_tongue:

Input lag on the PS4 made me decide not to buy it. Wonder if they've improved that? Probably not.

You're complaining about repetition and praising For Honor at the same time.. For Honor is repetitive as hell, and that's coming from someone who plays the hell out of it.

Played the closed beta and it felt clunky and repetitive, put me off a little. Granted will be more fun in a group but not enough to go buy it day one.

Typical Ubisoft servers always down and like many others have said the game is turd/repetitive.

The only big issue I found was the cars, as they where like tanks and can drive off cliffs and the car would be fine and keep on driving. also driving the cars did not feel right compared to the rest of the game play and the next issue but not a big deal was the movement of the characters. issue running forward and turning or the characters running behind a car wile you where driving. I should say I was playing this on a PS4 with a SSD (500GB (not PS4 Pro)).
Over all i liked the game but after completing the the Closed Beta i felt like the missions where the same throughout. E.G kill someone. recover something or free people (this can be done in 2 ways kill everyone or sneak in nothing more). hope there is other mission types like stealth recovery, Spy on commanders, time missions, get item from A-B in time limit or take no damage.
this could all be in the game but the close beta might only of had these mission types. but they do need to expends the type of missions and hope the story is something good to follow.

I played the Closed Beta with 3 friends and it was a lot of fun and challenging on top difficulty. Then we exhausted all the missions and there was zero replay value. Looking forward to the new region. Won't be a day 1 purchase, but if they optimise the performance and it's below £20 I'd be interested

Game is hot garbage, played about 5 hours in the closed beta. Not gonna waste any bandwidth on the open beta. Repetetive ****, classic ubisoft

Same here. Gameplay and graphics are comical.
The game is hideous. For those of us who remember where this franchise started, Wildlands is just an awful awful shame and a waste.

I'm trying it out now so won't know for sure until it completes but I went to the store and hit the download button. Instead of downloading as a new beta, it is updating my closed beta instead. The update has 'Closed' swapped with 'Open' so it seems clear it will still work. It's a 17GB update (rounding up)

do people who have the closed beta need to download again? or is there a patch for those who already played the recent closed beta on ps4?

Atrocious story line and boring game play. Absolutely no innovation or creativity just standard open world repetitive boredom. It's a shame as between Rainbow Six and For Honor, Ubisoft have been setting the bar high.

Did you play the beta for the division though?
Played the beta and didn't want to play too much of it. With what little I saw I knew I had to buy.

The closed beta was pretty impressive, this game really does look the part in HDR. Still think I will wait till the reviews come out before I buy it as I jumped on the division with season pass on release and regretted it.
