Cheapest I could spot (Base is selling Police Simulator at the moment instead). The game is a port of a PC game due to be released on 22/03/17. It has a 9/10 on steam as well. The user side of the metacritics also gave it a 7.9/10 which is high. The game has a dark theme apparently and the story-line changes based on your decisions. It is currently £13.99 on steam if you are a PC user and want to try it.
- Your mission is clear: make $500,000 in 180 days, before Jack Boyd reaches retirement. How? That's up to you!
- Decisions, decisions! This Is the Police is all about a dark story and how you react to it. Whatever you decide, your choices will influence the game - and the fate of Jack Boyd.
- The Good, the Bad, and... the Ugly? The Chief of Freeburg's Police Department deals with all kind of people. It is up to you to find the bad guys, and decide how to deal with them.
- Carry out your duties. As head of Freeburg PD, Jack deals with all sorts of challenges every day: responding to emergencies, managing his officers, defending the department against City Hall and a corrupt mayor, and much more.
- Solve Investigations and gather evidence against the criminal gangs of Freeburg.
- Deal with the competing powers of the city. Everyone offers you favors, and each one comes at a price.
- Rich and fully voiced story: Jack Boyd is portrayed by Jon St. John, the voice of Duke Nukem.

A genuinely fresh, innovative and great videogame experience. It'll sell poorly.

I've gradually got rid of my PS3 archive. All I have now (physical) is about 90 titles that are either rare/limited edition/collectors edition or are my favourite titles.

I dunno why, but I thought this was going to be the fictitious game from the film "Let's be cops"

Why did you do that? It already says you've got 180 (in-game) days to finish it? :stuck_out_tongue:

Just watch some gameplays on YouTube, especially the guy in Arsenal shirt playing it. Should save you £15.

The only similarity is the city background, which is at a different angle.

It's not very good, the story is interesting but it wraps around a mini-game that wears thin quickly, in which you send out cops to deal with crimes. You don't get to interact although now and again it'll let you make a choice, and this whole day has to play out. And several whole days can take place before you get back into the story.
It just becomes a slog, and for £14.86, I would consider it over priced for what you are getting. By like £14.

Here is a gameplay for anyone who is curious. I think it all depends whether you're a fan of these type of games or not. To me it looks like an interesting concept. Not everyone is a hardcore fan of cod or FIFA anyway...
Beating you here, backlogged all the way back to PS1 and PS2!

I saw your PS4 pic, and no, I don't have not nearly as much stacked up as you when it comes to PS4 games.
I still need to complete Gravity Rush 2 (which I have only sunk in 4 hours on), as well as get round to Nier Automata afterwards. And then get round to eventually playing games like The Walking Dead seasons (only played the first season on PS3), Uncharted series (only played the second game on PS3, and need to replay all on PS4), Firewatch...
And then there are games like Final Fantasy 6 and Legend of Heroes on other previous formats. Not to mention the insane backlog on those formats too.
I also want to buy Resident Evil 4-6 HD remasters (especially as I never played 6 in the first place), Skyrim, Bioshock Collection.
And I also want to read a lot more books this year. A lot more.
Too many legitimate reasons for why I won't be opting for the Switch. Too much media. Not nearly enough time...

I'll never understand why people do this. Why buy games if you aren't going to play them? Do you just like collecting or buying? Chances are if you haven't played them by now you wont ever and might as well get rid of that plastic and box.
I dont even own physical games anymore and only buy 10/10 quality games on download as I value my time and money.
