The Expansion Pass secures your access to two epic adventures set in the vibrant world of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia.
Hearts of Stone will take Geralt on an all-new 10-hour adventure into the wilds of No Man’s Land and the nooks and alleys of Oxenfurt, where he’ll try to complete a contract from the mysterious Man of Glass.
Blood and Wine, a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.
Both expansions will offer gamers new content, gear and foes, and will feature characters both new and dearly missed -- all crafted with maximum attention to detail and quality.
Hearts of Stone is already available, while Blood and Wine is slated for release in the first half of 2016.

Probably one the best DLCs i've ever played, the DLC by their own have more content then a lot of games.

Brilliant DLC, just finished it all and I thought Blood and wine was better than the main game itself. Looks amazing too! Looked like a completely different game been in a bright and colourful location. I had the game stuck in my backlog for over a year and a half but so glad I finally played it and disappointed with myself cause I put off playing it for so long. Great price!!

I agree. The expansions leave most retail games in the dust and imo are even better than the main game (which was also great).

The best game expansions that exist IMO.

I agree. Right up there with Red Dead Undead nightmare, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep for Borderlands 2 and Episodes From Liberty City for GTA IV

If you only own the base game, this is the very definition of essential - and a great price.

I have this original game still to play with hearts of stone expansion pack - the one with gwent cards - is it really that good?

Yes, and then some. Do yourself a favour, though, and get hold also of Blood of Stone, in one form or another.

Is it better/cheaper to buy this and a hard copy of the original or just get the GOTY version for convenience? Would I be missing any content on the disc?

If you don't already own the base game, get the GOTY Edition

I bought the GOTY edition in the PSN sale a month or 2 ago.
AMAZING game and 55 hours in and still nowhere near finished or touched the 2 DLC yet :sunglasses:

The full game with this DLC included is only £21.49 on PSN at the moment, too.
Such an incredible game. I wasn't sure I'd like it after I failed to get into Skyrim but it's so much better that I can't even compare the two games. I bought it in December and I've played for 102 hours so far....and I'm level 23....some monsters I come up against are level 35 so I run away from them.
I've never played a game that had choices and consequences like this game. I've spent hours just playing Gwent! I've never bought another game where I've spent hours playing the game within it.

great find. I watched playthrough before getting a console so I will play it later. Much later because I have full saga of books to read - 8 books and few thousands of pages

Thanks for this...would definately puchase, but after 20 hours or so on Witcher I think I'm only about 10% in, so likelihood of playing these is for sometime in 2022 or later
