Just popped into my local Poundland shop in Elephant and Castle (London) and saw loads of tempered glass protectors.
They also have lots of magnetic wallet flip cases for 75p

Don't know if these work or not, but I'd question why iphone owners actually need to buy them. I've had android phones for years built with Gorilla Glass and have never had any kind of screen protector on them. I've dropped them occasionally, had them in and out of pockets with keys, coins, etc, and not once have I scratched or broken the screen.
If iphone screens are breaking regularly then perhaps apple need to improve the quality of their products. Seems to me that they're overpriced and of questionable quality. Or perhaps deliberately designed this way so that people need to pay apple's extortionate repair prices.

The latter is so true!! Everything about Apple is damn expensive & yes their repair prices too!! I still have the original iPad, still works great (touch wood lol) But, I know people who have bought newer models with lots of issues. I'm a big Samsung fan tbh, but, my lovely partner bought me the 6S for Xmas. Oh, man if you're not technical like us, you are stuffed!! Think I'll sell and go back to Samsung. Think it's the name now you pay for with Apple & the bosses bonuses!!

You will have many micro scratches on the glass I guarantee it, they might not be visible when the display is on and can't be felt but you will see them when off and in the light. If this bothers you or not is a matter of personal preference but I would rather have an extra bit of protection for marginal cost, weight and thickness. All phones will suffer from it and would rather scratch a replaceable protector than the actual screen.

These are good for the money. Saves scratching your screen. Not as good as the expensive ones but usually last a few weeks each of hard ware at work...

So, the moral is.... To buy the better quality one & it will last much longer & if it doesn't , you will probably be covered, to ask for an exchange!! Big fan of pound shops, but, some things, have to be bought & the price fairly paid!! Good luck if it works for others.

Love these, almost like the original screen. The only minus point I can find is that they are a little thicker than the usual, so you have a dip where the home button is.
Great though, easy to put on, and I'm a fussy sod.

Better than gel screen protectors. Much easier to fit with zero bubbles. Have them on my iPhone and 2 iPads.

I use these & honestly rate them, I'm on my 3rd since June. £3 is a whole lot cheaper than a new screen.
2 of them I broke by picking the edges.

Not my cup of tea but a good price. I don't know why people leave such sarcastic comments. Won't be long before people just don't post anything anymore.
