Staying there tomorrow night with this deal, got an email about offering them extra to get an upgrade, can go low but obviously might be rejected if they think it's not worth it. Anyone done this before and is it worth it?

It depends where you are staying and what value you place on the extras in my opinion -all Villages are slightly different ( we prefered our standard room at Chester to the club room we had there previously.)
There is a minimum you are allowed to bid if I remember correctly, which I am sure they will accept.
