Gotta be honest, that picture at first glance is creepy! Looked like the kid had been decapitated and his head is just sticking out the tie fighter!

Stupidly oversized and impractical for a child (and manchild) to play with. This will end up in waste disposal tips up and down the country. Voted cold.

If someone could adapt this to an R/C fighter, it might spice things up a bit at the local club-"I think your P-52 is being attacked by a tie fighter?"
Alex.Theory to brs98
3 Feb 17#27
No such thing as a P-52... :P
But no, there's no way that it could be adapted to RC, there's no lifting surface.

Am passing on this but HEAT for the deal, great find OP. There is no money in this for scalpers either as does not sell for much more than this bargain price on ebay anyway. Is the RRP really £169.99 ? Seems a bit high for what it is, is not in the realm of a Millennium Falcon for example. Good investment I suppose if you stick it away in the loft for 3 years.

Guessing the fact that a lot of people thought the movie was bad and Disney chugging out so many toys for it hasn't done it many favours.

Yes there was P-52 Mustang
And I said it for fun, but if it was adapted, it would be a rotocopter tie

eBay? It'll be far less hassle and cheaper to just throw it away.

That's a P-51, for some reason the Mustang gets misidentified as a fictitious "P-52" a lot. The type had a few different designations and variants (A-36, P-51, F-82, PA-48) but never P-52.
