You were unlucky then...I bought the same one. It said £1 on the shelf label, scanned at £5 at the self service checkout. Refunded twice the difference at customer service...paid for all of my shopping!

Double sided tape,grout reviver and stick on door hooks all around 50p-75p at Tesco Martlesham.
The WV1 karcher window vac@ £14 had gone!

No it isn't...many of these items seem to be scanning for more than shown on the SEL (didn't Tesco just get in trouble for this?). Pay the scanned price then go to customer services...they refund double the difference so you may end up with Tesco paying you to take stuff away!
Confirm this offer is in both Prescot and St Helens stores in Merseyside and scanning errors happening in both yesterday (may have fixed it by now).
