Have tried both rally games on Xbox One and Dirt Rally is vastly superior.

Ah ok, I wasn't logged in so it worked for me. I don't get why some deals go hot on here. Literally nobody could buy it, yet it's over 200 degrees :man:

this tech is issue has been on loeb for three weeks.. kill this thread.. I spoke to game tech and there are no copies in stock apart from faulty returns. my account has been knackered for two 2 weeks online due to loeb. seriously kill the thread as it'll mean people can't use Game online. plus it's not stocked obviously..

WRC 5 is alright but the screen tearing is pretty bad.

The first things I tried was the challenges, the 25 seconds one where you have to finish a rally in Wales in 6.07 is driving me nuts, cars all over place. Yea for this I'm using behind the car view. Currently trying to Plat Project Cars too but the Community Events trophy takes the p***

I've played it on PS4 with a DS4 and on PC with a G25, i run no assists and haven't had any problems with the cars spinning when they shouldn't (apart from the Saxo, the twitchy, skippy arsed little ****). Maybe you just have a heavy right foot? lol.
I don't usually stick with the same games for too long but i actually managed to get the Platinum Trophy for this one, that has to count for something. haha
Do you use first person view? I always find the third person/behind the car cameras to be really disorienting in this type of game.

I wasn't a big fan of WRC 5 to be honest, the handling was just a bit wonky for me. WRC 6 though is absolutely brilliant. The handling model is easy to get used to, but hard to master. The way rally games should be in my opinion. It's nice to see rally games coming back in style and quality ones at that. Makes me a very happy chappy.
Gonna do a few stages now, then get some kip ready for the next live broadcast of Rally Sweden in the morning

I really enjoyed this game. Not a sim like Dirt Rally but has a really nice handling model and very satisfying. If you're a fan of rallying you'll enjoy the "career" in this. You get to re-drive seb Loebs career. Great fun.

Did you play the demo by any chance? I love the wrc games but the steering in the demo was horrible to me?

Bought this other day and IMO the handling is absolutely awful. Not sure if they patched it and messed it up for me the cars handle nothing like they do on vids I've seen on YouTube. I told my friend and he tried it and said same thing, the cars just slide everywhere and spin out too easy. Played every other rally game on consoles with no issue

I took a choice on either this or WRC5 and went for WRC5 :disappointed:

Same issue I had when Far Cry 4 was dead cheap. What's happened is that this New Copy has a DLC Code Attached to it that isn't in stock anymore. So basically when you Add It to Basket when you're signed In It'll Add to Basket then It won't let you Check out. I contacted GAME Last time when they had this issue to manually place the order and they couldn't do so because of the DLC Code SKU Attaching onto it. Best try your luck In Store If It's nationwide but I highly doubt it is! :disappointed:
