!!!WORD OF WARNING!!!
Last time I bought a pack of scissors, it trolled me by having cable ties around them - thereby requiring a pair of scissors to open :smiley:
Just putting it out there in case anyone gets suckered in by this evil trick and has to cut their losses.

Old wife's tale;
Fold a sheet of kitchen foil over & over cut into strips with the scissors and it sharpens them.
It works a treat!
Heat Op bought some of these a few years ago :smiley:

Am sure yours are great, but I'm a man & buy cheap scissors & use foil to sharpen them. Actually think it was Marry Berry with that tip, even if it wasn't it works :P

Yes - some products ARE sold by both Lidl and Aldi.
For example, both sell 'Valley Spire' as their own-brand cheese (Valley Spire vs Cathedral City - get it? :wink: ).

Best scissors I own are some old stainless Sheffield ones, nothing modern matches them except expensive tailoring scissors.
