"This beer is neat to look at, and it has a good head. But my good impression ends there. It has a taste that is like a cheap gin. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to drink it straight or mix it with tonic water and a lime slice!"
Yes, i believe they deserved to die, and i hope they burn in hell!

Another to add to the list of beers killed by being brewed in the UK.

The list is a lot longer than that, I think k every tinned lager in the supermarket is brewed in the UK. Non UK brewed beer :
Lager:
Heineken, holland
Estrella, Spain
Moretti, italy
Per one, italy
Bavaria Holland?
Craft beer
Sierra nevada, usa
Brooklyn lager, usa
Erdinger, Germany
Hoegarden, Germany
Basically anything expensive and bottled, and nice

Cobra was invented in Britain and is brewed here. It is an 'Indian style' lager. It's not fizzy either.

Woah, that's not entirely true.... The US version of this is cracking.

Totally wrong. On a road trip from Seattle to Los Angeles I had some amazing American beers. Oregon in particular had so many amazing beers.

The US Brewed Sam Adams is very good. Had the UK Sam Adams from a bottle and it was ok but not as good as the US Brewed version (not tried the canned version) . Also the UK versions of Fosters and 4X are not a patch on the Australian Originals

Oh I'm with you now. You were comparing a draught beer with another draught beer..... On a bottle beer thread?
OK. Oh well, seeing as I'm here... Last weekend's weather forecast will be dry and sunny on Saturday and cold and wet on Sunday.

No.... bottled beer in Vegas with bottled beer in UK. I'll make sure to take photos next time so it's REALLY clear for you :-) :-)
Wouldn't it be....... Last weekends (no apostrophe needed) weather WAS..... You can't forecast something in the past. The weather wasn't just cold it was bloody freezing!

Maybe I should have been clearer. Whilst in Vegas staying at Ceasars, they would bring Sam Adams over when I was on the machines. The American one tasted more hoppy and full bodied than the brewed under licence version in the U.K.

You cannot compare a draught beer to a bottled beer? I can't think of one bottled beer that comes anywhere near close to resembling the draught version.
I was drinking their Winter Lager when in Boston in November, loved it. Not even going to try this but voting hot purely for the price.

I'd agree with that. For this price, I'd buy it and enjoy it, but the 'real' Sam Adams is a lot better.

Is this real Sam Adams, or the totally unrelated brewed in the UK rubbish?

330ml so the UK brewed variety. I was in New York recently and had a pint of draught Sam Adams - the difference is pretty big. The US version has much more depth and is much, much less fizzy (which is my main complaint of the UK brewed aberration).
