Don't worry about the shelf life, it's not like it has egg in it or anything. I have a bottle that's 6 months out of date and I've not died yet.

Hi some have mentioned this is garlicky on amazon reviews and elsewhere I dont like this as it tastes like powderered garlic and is a bit sickly. Is this the case for those who have tried this one ? Cheers

No need to refrigerate

Because of the vinegar, this normal has a long shelf life. I picked one up in Waitrose yesterday with END AUG 2018

Thanks, I'll definitely be mentioning the short date to Amazon as I will probably end up losing a few bottles as though very nice, it is very strong too so not really something you can use all that quickly or would want to pour over everything.
Also I wanted to ask, do you refrigerate it once opened? I cannot see any mention of this on the bottle, just seems to say "store in a cool dry place" which wouldn't be the fridge but I know most table/dipping sauces do have to go in the fridge once you break the seal....

Mine came today but as another poster mentioned all 6 i ordered are dated march 2017. Can someone whos had this before tell me, Is this normal for this sauce? i.e do the ingredients used have a very short shelf life or have amazon been getting rid of old stock? Suspect the latter but thought i should check before i go on to complain.

took me awhile to find the rooster brand but turns out it's available in waitrose.

if you are a real sriracha lover, you should only use the rooster brand. the manufacturer in Cali didn't apply for trademark because he believed it's a common recipe and should be shared for everyone. but obviously a lot of replica now a days. not saying they are bad, just not as delicious as rooster.

You can buy 430ml at Morrisons for a £1 without having to spend at least £20 on other things first.
Not the same brand or taste. I much prefer the Rooster brand

I'd complain if I received any with only a month on them and damaged/missing packaging, they would probably refund the price at least, if not send a replacement...

Rubbish. Its not cheaper at Morrisons. This is normally £7 for 785g so this is a great deal. Ordered double figures.

It's a nice sauce. As others have stated similar price or cheaper in Morrisons
Aldi is selling Flying Goose and Morrisons sell the Uni-Eagle brand of Sriracha.

So many comments saying it's cheaper elsewhere. You're not comparing the same brand, and this brand is by far the best and hardest to find for cheap. It's currently £3 in Sainsbury and I know of nowhere else which sells it over here, so this is a ridiculously good deal.
Linking to the Goose or various own brands and voting cold would be like voting cold on a Coca Cola deal because Asda sell Smartprice cola for 30p.

Your wife should also be chucking all your wine in the bin then because the same chems are in virtually all wines (Sulphites/Sodium Bisulfite).

Aldi , home bargains , b&m all sell it . It's just a generic Thai style chilli sauce , not hot , nothing special .

morrisons also sell it for £1.75, it was on deal last week for £1

I normally spice it up with a decent glug of much hotter sauce , thus stuff ain't that hot .
Thanks, I went for 6 bottles, should easily polish those off well before the date runs out...

Anyone know what kind of best before date these usually have? I usually really like hot sauces and from the reviews I am pretty sure that I'm going to love this one, so want to get as many as I can at this price but hopefully without any going off and getting wasted.....
