(first post) You can download episode 1 for free from the PS store and the season pass is now the lowest I've seen it ever £3.99 which gives you access to episodes 2-4 and extras 1-2.

seems like a quality deal plays better than resi 6's co op and for that price you cant really argue

well it has local co-op which is rare nowadays and I enjoyed episode 1, haven't played any of the rest yet but for £3.99 I'm sure it's worth it

Awesome I just traded the physical copy of this for £12. I knew it would come down eventually as it's been £6 ish before.
Raid more is incredibly deep if constantly upgrading your gear appeals to you.

Don't normally play the horror genre but I've just finished resi 7 and enjoyed it, would you guys recommend this or should I give it a miss?

For me it was my game of the year although I didn't play it until a year after release. Choice to play 2 characters affects the story a little bit differently/cross overs like res 2, has survival horror in raid mode -the fear of whats coming next -until you've spent loads of hours fondly levelling up and can blast through anything. some pure cheese with a nod to res 1 on top of a good story. Only let down for me it wasn't on 3ds, which was a shame as the first was made on the 3ds first before being ported/cleaned up.

I've just finished the first one on the PS3, I have this one sitting to play, in your opinion is this better or worse that Revelations 1? :sunglasses:

Better story and harder than Revelations 1 for me.

Better, Its more enjoyable in every way and keeps a good ratio of those moments enemies/parts you dread but not to the point where it just sucks. Leveling up more than 1 raid character is worth doing and raid can be very challenging in 1 player (teaming up with higher characters makes it less daunting/too easy if stuck, but also takes away the suspense). It feels more connected to the res games than a stand alone story like rev 1 feels to me (tho it could be argued rev 1 is a throw back to the gameboy version of res evil). I think one thing is a bit too easy compared to rev 1 but that might be down to actually wanting to replay it and having replayed it, knowing how to handle it.

What is this? (Not sounding like Barry Burton) lol but what games do the revolution contain?

The first Resident Evil: Revelations is set between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The story of the game follows series protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they try to stop a bioterrorist organization from infecting the Earth's oceans with a virus.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. The game marks the return of Claire Redfield as the main protagonist.

I'm sorry to sound dumb, but when it says 'season pass' that sounds to me like it will expire? Am I getting the game to keep?
Thank you

A season pass gives u access to all the DLCs of a game and you get to keep them, nothing expires

Fantastic game. Much better than Resi 7 which apart from the name has nothing in common with the old games or characters.

Thank you, I did assume it's getting the game to keep, just the terminology seems odd - pass makes me think of Now TV passes or something, which are finite!

The links were thrown in there to appease older fans in my opinion. It's a decent game just not a true Resident Evil game.
