Been keeping an eye on this since release and this was the best price I've seen. Xbox only though sadly!

Great game. Pity it only took 3 nights to complete then sold on. Heat from me

That DLC that was released a week after release didn't convince you to hold onto it then?

Im not a big fan of DLC, rarely are they worth the price. Plus got £35 back for the game after paying £42 so only £7 loss

You must not be familiar with Mass Effect or Bioshock :smirk:

Never played mass effect. Played all 3 bioshock on release but just purchased bioshock collection today so look forward to DLC for that since never purchased before. Heard minervas den and burial at sea are good

Console games are generally more expensive than PC games. How much did you pay for your PC?... :smirk:

Except it's not THAT much cheaper on pc and provided you have psvr it's actually one of few titles to buy on ps4 as opposed to pc due to the not tacked on vr experience.

Your avatar looks way too much like Mixis when glancing on mobile so I keep thinking you're him
I sold it after a few days because there's no change in hell I'm supporting a dlc model like this. Small chunks of dlc that really could have been in the main game being sold a few weeks after release? No thanks from me. That's poor practise and the definition of money grabbing ****
Any game that's made with the intention of dlc in mind from the start is likely to get no support from me (there's the odd exception of course) especially if it's small chunks of average dlc like this.

Honestly all the Bioshock DLC's are excellent. No doubt you will enjoy them. Yep Minerva's Den is great.

Those are the exceptions, not the rule, though. You also forgot The Witcher 3.

Did you vote cold?
Heat added OP, I too managed to finish it in a few days, and I have to say it's one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. I passed it on after completion, but will definitely be picking it up again further down the line when it's cheaper.

Excellent observation.
Although Reddeviln2015 said "Rarely are they worth the price" I was responding to "Im not a big fan of DLC"

I just wish they rebooted RE so that 6 (And storywise; code Veronica onwards) didn't happen. All got a bit whacky.

To be fair, I don't even think of Witcher 3 DLC. I Think of it as old school expansion packs.
All the people moaning about the price of games. Your train ticket goes up every year but I can't remember games doing so hence why they need people to not sell them on and to buy dlc.

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
Borrowed of a friend.
great graphics, amazing sound effects.
Controls are hit and miss.
Story is weak
Enemies make this game feel more action than horror
Scares are predictable, but the mood is strongly set throughout the first half of the game (pre ship wrecked).
It's an over hyped title, and if you aren't a dedicated Resident Evil fan, you may find it a disappointing game that over stayed it's short welcome of 7-8 hours.
I preferred the days when the zombie out break was caused by the T Virus being leaked in the city and it was more survival of the fittest. Now it's silly chemical warfare (seems to be the main focus of re games since re4).
I wished this was a new IP made by Crapcom, and they tried to steer clear of anything related to Resident Evil in terms of the storyline. Stuck with a more messed up horror tone, just like how the games graphics and first few hours feel.
But every so often you feel Crapcom leak their old classic nonsense into this title (the garage fight if ya don't get the car first. The mutations of the bosses etc, it screams dead rising at best).
It's a great attempt of something different, and only ruined by back tracking into what Crapcom previously knows.
6/10 title.

That's not really fair. They've been quite clear that the paid for DLC is not part of the story, so isn't needed and would not have made sense to be in the main game, but the actual continuation to be released shortly, will be free.
Not sure how free story dlc can be considered money grabbing ****.

Although I agree that they could have done with rebooting the series storywise, you shouldn't act like you're in the majority when your views are clearly the minority.

Huge fan if the earlier games. Got tired of this after the first few hours. The Evil Within >Resident Evil 7 (Imo)

I should've added "may contains spoilers"
But re reading my post. I'm not seeing any spoilers that could ruin the game.
*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
pre ship wrecked is a chapter name. That may or may not be classed as a real spoiler.
Chemical warfare has been the driving point from re4, 5, revs 1 and 2. Was basically the same thing in resident evil 1, 2 and 3, but was more subtle. My issue was they could've gotten away from that in this reboot.
The only real spoiler I see is me mentioning about the garage fight. It slightly ruins what may happen. But that encounter has multiple ways to deal with it, that you may never encounter what happened to me, or you may get it first try.
I didn't believe I've ruined much else but I've added a spoiler warning.

I'm a bit more than half way through and so far I have really enjoyed the game, but have to admit that pre ship wrecked was the most of the fun. I think because I am more scared of crazy people than monsters!
