Resident Evil 7 Biohazard sets a new course for the Resident Evil series as it leverages its roots and opens the door to a truly terrifying horror experience. The new era of horror is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 (the full gameplay experience will also be available via the included PlayStation VR Mode), Xbox One and Windows PC.
Set within a sinister plantation mansion in modern day rural America and taking place after the dramatic events of Resident Evil 6, players experience the terror directly from the first person perspective for the first time in the Resident Evil series. Embodying the iconic gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined “survival horror” some twenty years ago, Resident Evil 7 biohazard delivers a disturbingly realistic experience that will define the next era in horror entertainment.

Best game I've played in ages and my favourite in the series, well worth a punt.

No your wrong. 4 is the best game in the series and 7 is a awful game that should have got cancelled PT style.

I have just posted a link to this deal in my earlier ShopTo deal which includes the "Burner Set DLC" at £26.86 delivered, not sure if Grainger stock includes the DLC (not stated) however a lower price.

Cheaper on CDKeys at £23.74 if you're not worried about a physical box

great game, just last the second boss. it is very RE and very atmospheric. if you can play in vr definately do that, if it means waiting until oculus and vive get support then do that!

IN YOUR OPINION.
you need to play it in VR. That might change your mind.

So you need to buy an overpriced VR headset that is already being abandoned for this game to be enjoyable? nah thanks. Should have just called it "Resident Evil VR" then or better yet a completely different title as 7 is not a Resident Evil game.

I agree, if VR is still around in 2 years (I would say 1yr but the Scorpio will have VR support) I will invest but as it stands I don't see much demand for it right now.

Sony never support any of its gimmicks for long. Just look at 3D, ps move, ps eye, psp, vita, etc.

I watched a playthrough on Twitch and the first half was okay but the second half is just awful. You can tell they were running out of budget and were cutting costs with less cutscenes and same licker type enemy over and over. Also the ending was stupid and tacked on just to claim "its Resident Evil guys. Look we just tacked in this character at the very last second". Capcom should stop making RE games as they obviously don't know how to make them anymore.

Don't get the hype about this game. Basically it just rips off a mixture of horror movies and brings little new to the table. I mean it's hardly the worst game ever and the fact that it's so short meant that I could get through the game, but it barely felt like a Resident Evil game to me.

nope, i use the android app which doesn't capitalise. i have abbreviated resident evil (sorry) to RE before so my phone intervened and auto capped it. it doesn't bother me though, sorry you didn't like the game - it is clearly divisive but to me so much of it felt like resident evil of old but with new gameplay mixed in. it was better than Dead Aim at least, right?
