It's like F-zero or Wipeout for the PC. A high speed, futuristic racing game with a demo available. Also there is the deluxe edition with soundtrack and art book for under £2 extra .
You'll probably have to supply your own sick bags, unless there's a deal for them on HotUKDeals

easily worth this price.

Excellent game, recommend this thoroughly. However, it is so fast that it best played at 120+fps on a 120 Hz monitor.

O Rly. Not 144 fps on a 144 Hz monitor?

Agreed, I bought and refunded it. One of only 2 or 3 games I have requested a refund on.

Go back and play wipeout after this. Wipeout is positively tame by comparison, this was one of my games of the year.

What didn't you like about it?

It really wasn't very good in VR, seemed very low quality compared to other VR games.
The whole thing just seemed boring to me, it just didn't seem exciting.

If you want to be pedantic then there's higher monitors out there than 144hz. I think it was pretty obvious he was implying that it's best play on higher refresh monitors.

this has been on my wishlist for a while now
decided to take the plunge for the "deluxe edition"
seems pretty good so far, runs great on my i5 4670K with an AMD R9 280 (3GB)
