As someone that has used this for a year- I wouldn't recommend. Very painful after around 2 hours use- headband would cut into your scalp and ear muffs would press my glasses against my head

Looks like they SOLD OUT... next best price £75 at Amazon.
They did make the noise on my old pc which probably had a terrible sound card. But on my new one (asus hero viii mobo) i'm not sure, i think i just got used to it and blocked it out.Does a sound card still make a difference if the headset is connected via usb?Because these are.

Bought these refurbished for this price, had a really slight/quiet static noise when you paused a video or played something really quietly.Dont know if this is with all of them but I would buy the Hyper X Cloud II 's over this.Good price though - Heat added

I bought a refurbished set of HXC II from Amazon a few weeks ago when there was £10 off £50 spend... They're awesome. They are refurbished by Kingston too... they appeared to be basically brand new, just in a brown OEM box.

Hey! Could it be that the noise comes from static on your sound card? Or something else that is injecting noise?
Just mentioning this as I had some static noise on a pair of speedlink headphones and the problem was the volume control on the headset. For some reason, it was catching some interference that resulted in static noise (which comes down to not-so-good quality as some of the components weren't shielded properly).
