I understand the Emergency benefits of the belt cutter and hammer, but I can't think of a situation when an emergency has arisen and I've needed to accurately check the tyre pressure in a hurry :smirk: I think that part of it is "handy"!

a must have if you go into a river and the doors auto lock when they short out
smash a window or sunroof and get out

Just don't keep it in the lockable glove compartment.

Should be checking tyre pressure regularly . so no need to go down to garage which no longer free to check. so saves money and time.

Heat from me, looks like the seat belt cutter could open my 'emergency' beer;)

Where does it say not suitable for laminated windscreens as I don't think they have used anything else but those since about 1980.
Edit: side windows are not usually laminated. I see your point now.

Without wanting to piddle on your chips these (minus tyre pressure) are in the pound shops. Nice if you want all in 1 I suppose

And you risk your lives on a £1 tyre pressure gauge? I wouldn't skimp on a decent one which has probably been calibrated better

I've read reviews about cheaper ones not smashing windows in emergencies....I guess by that point it's too late to find out if any of them work really, but I'd rather feel like I have an option if the worst ever happens. The torch and gauge are handy enough for the price for me anyhow.

Worth getting a fire extinguisher as well.

You won't need one of those if you drive into the river.

" a must have if you go into a river and the doors auto lock when they short out smash a window or sunroof and get out"
can't remember the last time this might have happened to me, but just in case I have bought the wife and kids life jackets, and a flare gun which came cheap with the life raft.
just imagine yourself inside your car sinking on the ocean and you tried to get out then think "oh sh**, wish I had bought the emergency multi tool posted on hukd yesterday":smiley::smiley:

Uhm I'd use the fire extinguisher to propel me to the surface. But also in other situations, like fires involving cars.

If you need to smash a window to get out in an emergency, you can also remove the headrest and use the metal part

Well - the 'Get Deal' link goes to an irrelevant section on ECP's site and I've searched on every conceivable word(s), but this item just isn't there :disappointed:
Does anyone have a direct link or Product Code? I have a feeling this has expired...
