I'm getting fed up with Quidco. Since the start of this year none of my purchases ever get tracked and then I have to raise a claim which takes months to process. Grrrrr

Here's a direct comparison.

Spent £89.97 @ Toysrus via Topcashback on 26th November and cashback paid 17 Jan 2017
Spent £119.96 & £30.45 @ Toysrus via Quidco on 18th November and it's still @ "Tracked" status. It's not even confirmed yet!

Same for me. Bonus Cashback added on 08th June, then got declined few days later. Then added again on 01st July and I have now withdrawn it.

The cashback was correctly added to my account on 8 June and then was declined a few days later (even though the purchase was still tracking and is now confirmed). I have written to them several times but they have not replied. In fact, the inbox and outbox have completely disappeared from the website.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

Big shock my Argos spend in Feb just confirmed with no £5 bonus, just like the £10 one before it, now for me to email them, 3 weeks later they will make me raise a claim, 3 weeks after that they will say the claim is OK, so I will email them again, 3 weeks later they might look into it - all this happened with the £10 bonus too, they do it on purpose.

I print a copy of the offer page out & keep it to remind me to check when the purchase is confirmed. Bonus SHOULD show up a few days after the cashback reaches confirmed stage (but this could take a while depending on the retailer)

They seem to do this alot. I have to remember to take a screenshot or a note of the cashback prices at the time as I see I have a few cashbacks that have tracked at a lower rate and I remember them being higher than that at the time. Bit dodgy..

It seems Quidco offer the £5 cash bonus but does not show anywhere the status of the £5.
I understand they will not pay it out prior to it being confirmed for payment as you may return the product.

I purchased an item from Scewfix for £14.99 on the 15th February, via the £5.00 refund email link, my status shows:
"Your purchase on 15 Feb 17 for £12.50 and for £0.14 cashback at Screwfix has been tracked"
But there is no mention anywhere about my £5.00, so it seems I have will have to remember about this purchase and see if I eventually get the £5, as there is no "subject to £5 refund when Screwfix confirms payment"

Will I remember this in 90 or 120 or 200 days time - I doubt it.

I have the same and just asked their support about it. Transactions can be left in a Confirmed state after a certain amount of time has passed... or something... but you can check if they were paid at https://www.quidco.com/payments/, if you scroll to the bottom of the page there's a complete record. My ones marked as Confirmed were paid long ago.

In contrast to Quidco, Topcashback ran a £5 promotion at the end of January. My £5 showed as tracked straight away and it's now payable. No waiting for ages like Quidco. I've got tracked and confirmed instore cashback showing on Quidco going back nearly two years. Now I will always use Topcashback in preference.

Almost every time I receive one of these Quidco bonus offers, the bonus does not appear automatically even after the cashback from the original purchase is payable. It can take 6 months or longer for the cashback to become payable and I assume many people will have forgotten about the bonus by then. Make sure to keep a copy of the invitation email and write to Quidco if the bonus does not appear on your account. I just got my bonus through yesterday from a purchase made in July 16 and it took 12 messages to receive it....at last!

Unbelievable!

The Topcashback £5 bonus is now payable after only 19days! The original cashback is not even confirmed yet and Topcashback are already paying out the bonus after only 19 days since it tracked! This is why TCB is better than Quidco.

For Aviva the difference was £37 for me, going 'direct' instead of via TCB, (not including £60 cashback, with £60 cashback was £23 cheaper). I still went via the cashback though, it's tracked/pending at present. When getting Direct Quotes/Cashback Quotes from Aviva until this year, there has never any a difference. Exactly the same details/annual mileage 'band' used.

Aviva also prevents getting a new customer quote until the current insurance has actually expired, which makes it difficult to compare prices quoted 'direct' - non cashback/prices quoted routed via cashback sites, if you have an existing policy.

Really the law need to be changed to prevent being classed as an existing customer on the last day of insurance, to prevent price collusion. (Or having one day's grace, for insurance lapses, in which they cover you, to the same effect).

Continuous Insurance rules means prices are being hiked, even if its only a few £'s per customer, it adds up.

(AA rescue admit in the t&c that prices quoted are cheapest for customers that go 'direct' and not via cashback / affiliate sites)

I was sure Aviva were doing the same thing when I got a car insurance quote last year, so much so that I specifically tested the same quote via Quidco and without a referral and the Quidco-referred price was higher by the exactly amount of the cashback.

Never reported it to anybody though. I just tried the same experiment now and could not replicate it, the prices were identical both times.

To be fair to Quidco, they hate it as much as you do and the decision is not there's to make, It's just the way Tesco have defined a new customer and the way they have chosen to run their campaign. If it were up to Quidco they wouldn't have new and existing customer splits at all, everyone would get the same. Its a big point of contention between them and retailers which they do constantly push on, i can assure you of that and i think the headaches it causes their support team prove it!

Thank Loomingfruit. I did shop around using various comparison sites (don't get me started on those) - and once I found a price I was happy with I then cleared all cookies and histories and went direct to the RAC site (as comparison sites do not always put in exactly what you want). Having seen the price confirmed on the RAC site I again cleared all cookies and histories and went to Quidco - clicked thru to RAC and the top of the RAC page clearly referred that this was a Quidco referral. (It did the same when I went via TCB referring to it being a TCB referral). The RAC confirmed to me that the price was higher because I had gone via Quidco - so how Quidco and TCB can just say it is a mistake I am unclear. It's a deliberate price hike. I'm now off to shop for pet insurance - and have already been told by Quidco that as I had a Tesco policy 2 years ago I would not qualify for a brand new purchase now. The 2 year old policy is now defunct and I am no longer a pet insurance customer TODAY so why, Quidco - if I make a NEW purchase of Tesco pet insurance, which would give me a NEW one year policy - would I not get cashback?

You dont think its more of a case that our expectation as consumers in a digital age is changing? a few years ago no one would complain waiting a few days for their products or a few months for some cashback. Now in a world where argos will deliver the same day and amazon don't differentiate weekends and working days upping the benchmark and the expectations of the consumer.
Now im not saying this is wrong, we need people to demand more for the industry to progress, but people need to understand the hurdles that need to be overcome to truly appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes to make progress happen rather than blindly make ever increasing demands on services beyond the realms of possibility.

I agree with a lot of the comments here, Quidco are getting quite bad and painfully slow. Topcashback are so much more reliable and a lot quicker at paying out these days.

16 Feb 17 #178
Agreed, the sites do make a point of saying not to rely on the cashback and to see it as a bonus instead but obviously the point of their business is to drive sales. I use cashback more to decide more where i'm going to buy a product im already set on rather than what products im going to buy. For example, i buy all my takeaways from HungryHouse because they offer higher cashback and are on the Quidco rewards scheme while Just Eat aren't. Earned my £50 bonus almost exclusively off fried chicken, pizza and curries.

No problem! Not a Quidco rep, I just worked in this industry for a few years so i'm very familiar with both Quidco/TCB and the technical set-up working with them requires.

On your other point, are you checking through a comparison site, such as Moneysupermarket, then going direct, then clearing cookies, then going through cashback? If so its likely that the rate given to you at first was an exclusive deal for customers from the comparison site you used (even if its not advertised as such), and as the cookie from the comparison site was still there when you went back direct it continued to show that price. Clearing cookies would then delete this information, and going through Cashback sets a new cookie/price.

RAC likely pay the comparison site less per sale than they do for cashback (maybe £25 as opposed to £100 through Cashback for example) and then knock £100 of the annual premium. Costs them £25 more to do this overall, but if its within their margins they'll happily do it because comparison sites drive huge amounts of traffic.

If you deleted the cookies before going direct then i have no idea at all.

This all boils down to whether a person should make a purchase from a particular retailer via a cashback site purely based on their level of faith in that specific cashback site paying out? If, for whatever reason, they don't think they'll get the cashback, it's probably a better idea to keep an open mind on the retailer they choose. If they'd be buying the item anyway, and all of the obvious factors are even (price, delivery timescale, payment methods, reliability etc), then they have nothing to lose by choosing to go via the site.....the cashback will be a bonus if it comes through.
On the other hand, if a person makes a purchase that they wouldn't otherwise have made if it wasn't for a cashback offer, and the money never materialises, then I can see at reason to feel a little aggrieved. And it's always going to feel like you've been conned if something is promised but not delivered on for no apparent reason.
My suggestion? Keep an open mind!

Insurance is always a long one because it is a 12 month product that you're able to cancel with a small-ish penalty, usually. So they typically wait for a fair few months until they confirm you're likely to stick it out for the full term.

Thanks for your reply LoomingFruit. Are you a Quidco rep?

As it seems everyone is talking about cashback (not just Quidco) another one to beware of - I was shopping for breakdown cover - and RAC came up best for me. Once I have a quote I always then check direct to the website first and then go to the Quidco/TCB link to make the purchase (after clearing cookies).

Appallingly RAC Breakdown was ramping up the price by up to £80 because I was going via Quidco or TCB. I know this because RAC told me when I rang them.

I raised this with both TCB and Quidco - given them screenshots as well. Neither would suspend the retailer whilst they looked into it - thus leaving unsuspecting customers to be grossly overcharged. Not only that but when eventually I did get a reply from both - it was unsatisfactory and one of them tried to say it was an error. When I pointed out their own policies regarding fairness (which you can read in the small print of both Quidco and TCB) it seemed protecting the customer from being ripped off after proof was provided was not included.

The warning here is very much to check any insurance quotes you have obtained from comparison or cashback sites directly with the retailer site before you make your purchase.

I've swapped between the same two insurance companies on quidco for the last 5 years and been paid cashback each time so they haven't restricted me. The last time it did take a long process to get paid through Quidco CS though.

My main comment would be that I've only been given a voucher code for Amazon after twice reporting its non arrival to Quidco Customer Services after claiming my cashback value. This is 25 days after putting the request and for whatever reason it still did not arrive and Quidco wouldn't confirm when it was sent (or even if it was sent) but told me to check spam folders which is reasonable although I had already done this and told them so. I also have most of my transactions being declined recently despite cleaning my browser history and cookies immediately before each time I use quidco and then have to raise a query.

Quidco is bad.

I just found out a lot of cashback confirmed in 2015 still not paid to me.

Most likely, Quidco already got the money and spent it. There is no way that Quidco not collect the money sooner, or change to delined if it was refused.

So bad.

I wouldn't be so sure that they are passing on 100% of the commission. If you generate lots of revenue you will typically get increased rates, and if you're generating the levels of revenue Quidco and TCB will be generating you'll likely negotiate your own rate.

Their latest accounts show £64.7m turnover to the end of July 2015 with cost of sales at £52.5m. I honestly don't see the £12.1m gap coming from retailers paying to push products, nor the first £5 they retain if you decide to be a Premium member.

You are right to identify the retailers as the slowest link in the chain. Quidco/top cashback is a fantastic service for customers. But they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. The retailers are in no rush to get there cheque books outs, why would they be when customers like you are too happy to defer the blame to quidco. Quidco can't push the retailers because remember they don't earn commission, they rely on the retailers for revenue.

This kind of thing comes about as a result of how each advertiser has the coding on their site set up to define whether you're a new customer or not. The majority of advertisers that offer different commissions for new customers do so by looking at the email you enter at checkout and then cross-reference this with their own email database. If its in there, even if you're not a current customer, the site is going to see you as Existing rather than new. I imagine insurance providers also run checks against other information, such as address, name or car registration to avoid people just changing their email address.

Of course, these advertisers do this because they want legitimately new customers to the business, who have never shopped before. If you had a policy three years ago you're likely in their database and they could send you an email, letter or whatever to try and entice you back without having to pay out cashback. Advertisers have a lot of faith in their customer retention strategies, sometimes to a fault.
bluetang
15 Feb 17 #158
Something else not made clear - if you are purchasing car insurance for example and you are currently with another company, if you then try to get cashback via Quidco for a new policy elsewhere it will only be honoured it you have NEVER had a policy before with the new company. Everyone shops around for insurance and changes company every year to save money - don't they? So beware - if for example you had a policy with Aviva 3 years ago and now you want one with Aviva for this year - you won't qualify for cashback. I do not know why as you are purchasing a policy and are NOT currently an existing customer but a previous customer from 3 years ago. Perhaps the Quidco rep here could clarify?

15 Feb 17 #157
I fully understand the points you have raised, but in laymen terms the net result is 1. Losing customers who get fed up waiting for payments, and 2. People no longer shopping with Quidco affiliates for the same reason.
When Quidco started these bonuses they promoted them with a statement of "payment within 72 hours".
They should have made it perfectly clear that payment after 72 hours when the purchase is confirmed.
If the problem is with the affiliates then Quidco need to be pushing them to approve payments, so that their customers are a bit happier, because it seems instead of gaining customers, they are now losing customers.
Meanwhile Quidco sit around twiddling their thumbs...doing very little for their annual charges and affiliate commission.
Maxow
15 Feb 17 #156
Quidco is starting to look like a company that is going down the pan. They entice members to buy with offers of bonuses which don't seem to get paid so they can get more money in from their customers. They then take ages to pay, if they do at all. Just waiting for the email to say they are no longer trading. I am off to TCB now so I dont lose any more money. I certainly do not have any faith in the bonus offers.
If this is not the case maybe Quidco should start to pay out these bonuses instead of making promises of payment they just cannot keep.

For those they don't understand. Quidco and Top cash back, much like hot uk deals is an affiliate. Using third companies such as affiliate window as middlemen they instigate transaction on signed up retailers. (hot uk deals automatically adds the URL onto the deals you post if you hadn't noticed). As a retailer I can confirm both TCB and Quidco do indeed pass on 100% of the commission they earn. Their revenue stream comes from approaching retailers with additional positioning in their media. Deals like this one earn't retailer driven, and while I don't fully understand the model its most likely intended to:
1. Create new quidco users. You are their #1 asset, as ultimately they use their user numbers to attract large advertising deals.
2. promote new sales. Quidco and top cash back aren't particular attractive marketing streams for advertisers. this is because they've already paid another channel, say google for the sale, only for the customer to use quidco and cause another marketing expense for a sale that was would have likely of gone through regardless. So being able to prove they can drive new sales, instead of scrape off other channels is important for retailers to continue a relationship with cashback sites.

The reason why it takes so long to for the commission to be approved is simple. After each sale the retailer needs to approve each transaction within their affiliate gateway manually, each transaction needs to checked it hasn't been refunded, cancelled and meets the T&C's. With large retailers they'll have a thousands of transaction a day to process. Not only that, they need to wait a safe period outside the customer standard return period to cover any potential returns/abuses because once approved the retailer is 100% committed.

Once approved, the middle man affiliate company needs to be paid, most retailers are on 14/30 day payment terms so thats another month. Then the affiliate company needs to batch up the commissions and forward them to the publishers which I believe is fortnightly, although I suspect they have lead time also in regards to credit terms, meaning the publisher will likely wait another 14/30 days to receive the funds although the publishers they can view a pending commission in real time.

Then the cash back sites needs to unbatch the transactions and start matching payments to cashback, which while i suspect automated batch systems are in place I bet a large portion of manual work is still involved, especially with assigning additional bonuses like this.

That's why its takes so long, and realistically never really happens under 3 months. If anyone has an questions, im happy to go into it further, but I can only answer questions from a retailers perspective.
crazyhorse
15 Feb 17 #153
Where the retailer is clearly abusing the spirit of the cashback scheme, cashback not being guaranteed is grounds for an unfair contract IMO. For £90 I would pursue the matter further if the transaction tracked fine to begin with.

15 Feb 17 #152
Good if you don't mind waiting over 6 months for the bonus - previous two £10 bonuses have taken that long and only got both of them after contacting the with the following - complain via customer service, state everything, purchase date, order number, amount spent, when your cashback was confirmed by the retailer, then you should get a message back saying its been put through and should be confirmed in 3-5 working days. A bonus cashback should surely be confirmed at the same time as the retailer confirms the purchase.

Still awaiting two bonuses (debenhams and argos) from well before Xmas. Neither tracked and both now 'sent to retailer'. Coincidence? Well argos never track for me but usually cough up; Debenhams always track except this once. Quidco have so far always sorted things eventually for me but i suspect a lot 'fall through the cracks' and that this may be a tactic. In any event you wonder whether it's worth the hassle.

Just noticed you haven't got as many "likes" as some of the other comments. Also at the time of my posting, this 'deal' was at 979°.

To be honest, this is why I hardly ever come here now. One day a deal is shot down because it's "invite only" and the next the same kind of deal gets voted thermonuclear. On another day someone discovers an 8GiB memory card, reduced to clear at the Tesco express in John O' Groats and it gets voted HOT. A day later and another deal, which although available from only a handful of stores but is nonetheless accessible to many more people access gets voted down.

And then there's all the useless tat which gets voted hot not because it's a a real quality deal with genuine value but because it uses big marketing numbers like 9999999:1 contrast ratio or worse, because "someone who's looking for that might like it".

I've always found these Quidco deals a bit 'vague', and sometimes they just don't actually turn into cashback for usually undisclosed reasons. I may not have gone to a particular retailer if it hadn't been for the standard cashback and/or bonus, so it isn't exactly a convincing process at times.
Having said that, it appears that I was (in theory) eligible for this offer when I clicked on the Get Deal button, so heat to you OP. Whether it'll materialise is another matter of course, but without your heads-up, I wouldn't have even tried.

It's why i find it difficult to believe that Quidco or TCB deliberately hold back on payment of cashback, unless they were doing it on a huge scale (which would be discovered very quickly) it wouldn't really help them. Generally i just think there's a lot of moving pieces that need to fit together before Quidco can pay up and if one of those pieces doesn't fit (Advertiser doesn't validate timely or pay quickly, customer doesn't understand how tracking and cookies work etc) then the whole thing doesn't work

Wow that's interesting I never would've thought that they pay out 100% of cashback to customer I always figured part of their business model was surely taking a cut. Suppose it shouldn't be that surprising really since advertising is so lucrative and I'm sure the traffic they drive converts to customers very often due to the added incentives. Interesting stuff though.

I was using Quidco the most and Topcashback on occasion but have switched in the last few months to using TCB more than Quidco. The £10 Quidco deals at Christmas surprise surprise did not track when I have had no problems before and I have had to put in claims. The only deal with Quidco I have is to collect 500 coins which I will never be able to achieve. So its TCB for me and I will not be taking up this offer.

Ive used quidco for around 5 years and ive seen the decline of the site, start as a free service pull the people in and then start charging them £5 for premium service (optional i know). Ive earnt £2k with quidco but again notice my purchases arent tracking despite using my usual device. Also find loads of transactions get stuck and when i speak to cs about something else they end up releasing like loads. Also now ive got close to the gold coins target the companys which i can earn gold coins are limited. I would suspect in some instances that quidco are probably getting the cashback from companies and retaining it without passing it on? Im not sure if these cashback sites are regulated and audited at all. My perception is topcashback seems to be the more friendlier of sites whereas quidco seems to be more interested in its own profits rather than its customers

Not strictly true, though with some sites that's the case. Both Quidco and TCB offer 100% of the commission they receive for a sale back to the customer, provided the sale is approved by the advertiser, taking no cut from individual sales. They make almost all of their money by selling additional exposure to advertisers in their newsletter, on the homepage and other areas and make some from premium memberships which cost about £5 per year.

It's perfectly possible to use both Quidco and TCB for free to get cashback and never actually give them any money directly, but they benefit from having you on their database as another member that advertisers can now reach through working with the site.

These cash back sites are (potentially) dodgy at best. That is why we should never think we are guaranteed the cash back from our purchases. Remember, we click through a third party through to the merchant's website. If all goes well, the merchant gives us a small discount for our purchase via the third party (Quidco in this case). The third party takes a small cut, and then passes on the cash back to us. We must remember that cash back sites are making money from our actions and are not offering this service for free.

It's worth taking into account that if something has not changed to 'confirmed' yet, the majority of the time thats down to the advertiser not Quidco. Quite strange that TCB would have had theirs confirmed as most advertisers validate in monthly batches, so it could be Quidco's end, but there's a decent chance that Toys R Us haven't confirmed the sale for Quidco.

That said, i've had a similar issue a couple of times and usually a quick live chat with Quidco support gets them to agree to pay up front if the sale has been confirmed by the advertiser.

I have been a big fan of quidco for a number of years - and am constantly ribbed by friends for promoting use of the site - cos basically why not get something for nothing - HOWEVER - recently the service has become extremely poor, its totally hit or miss if you will get cash back from some retailers - and worse of all - promotions such as these as a user you have no idea if they will be honored or not - across Christmas I opted in to a number of retailer specific promotions - and am yet to get anything. I am now moving from pro quidco to thinking this is something martins money-supermarket / watchdog needs to pick and investigate - as these retailer / quidco specific promotions encourage spending and I think its blatant mi-selling.

I would also be interested to see statistics evidencing the £5 premium actually gets you faster paying, as the online customer service chat service has degraded from very useful to an exercise in frustration.

I think Quidco are potentially tettering on a large claim against them if they do not change the way they are going about business ASAP.

I wonder just how many people complaining about Quidco (and don't get me wrong - I don't trust them either, almost always using TCB for its higher rates and better reliability) fully understand how crucial cookies are for tracking, how important it is to avoid competing cookies, and how to make sure the browser's completely clean. Would support the getting worse feelings. Over the years I have had over £3000 in cashback. However if you look at the yearly figures then then a vastly reducing figure each year. At first it was all the free money from gambling sites before the sites got wise to it and stopped it. The past 6 months I keep getting things as not tracked and then refused after appeal including one of the £10 bonus items from November. I know its not a brower issues at Topcashback is tracking. Fed up of them now. I know its free money but sometimes they are making you work for it.

15 Feb 17 1 #88
Yes, exactly! Quidco's whole system deliberately makes no audit trail available to the user. When you factor in the long delays for things to track/confirm, they are clearly banking on a large % of users simply forgetting about bonuses etc or losing the will to chase them up.

The only way you stand a chance with Quidco nowadays is to screenshot absolutely every stage of the process for every purchase you make, and keep all screenshots catalogued and dated in folders. It's become an absolute pain and sometimes doesn't seem worth all the hassle.

after reading this I was inspired to have a look at my Quidco account. It really does seem to have gone downhill of late, a number of deals declined for no given reason, and yes, you can wait an age for payments. My theory is that if you expect to wait an age you may not notice that you haven't been paid at all, thereby giving Quidco the money.
It's time we had an honest alternative to Quidco/TCB

Quidco has always been perfect for me up to now, They have even payed me cashback that was declined from the retailer and given bonuses where as Topcashback are a bunch of connartist liars and cheats, they lie on the % appearing to undercut Quidco but when it comes to payout it is the same or less paid out, making them devious and untrustworthy.

Customer service tell me are we ok to wait, what really are we ok to... what can we do, there is no come back at all. Not the first time this has happened with them. However quidco have had nearly £3,000 and when there are issues they help out, had a few paid before the cash has come on or so I am told. 14 Feb 17 #64
I have already contacted customer services several times and have been told that payment was imminent but nothing happens. If the problem is with the company not confirming sales then you should be giving them feedback that this is detrimental to future sales. I certainly will not be using the Fragrance Shop for any further purchases and have unsubscribed from their newsletters and marked them as spam. This may seem a bit over the top, but at the time it was only the bonus that made their products cheaper, they certainly were not the best price available.

I have found some tracking issues recently for both companies but don't forget you have browser updates several times a year and sometimes the settings can change which may prevent your purchase from tracking. I have just asked them for a list of browser settings, rather than a check list on their help page, as there are quite a few options and you could easily miss one of them. It may not be their fault ....your browser settings could be the reason for failure.

Another top up for quidcos own bank account. They don't keep a list of jack. They don't honour any opt-in offers, bank the cash back themselves and expect you to chase them on Twitter and Facebook with details from several months ago.

Hello all,

Just a few responses to clarify matters as regards the bonus payment speeds:

Bonuses received via email will usually be targeted towards those that receive them, which is why simply clicking through the page if you have not received the email will usually yield a 'Not eligible message'.

The payment of bonuses such as this is dependent on the 'confirmation' of a qualifying purchase. The majority of retailers will take around 3 months to process automatically tracked cashback and 4 months with claims from the date a claim is raised.

The bonus then follows 3 days after 'confirmation'. Should that not happen, please don't panic as our customer support team will be on hand to help sort that out for you so don't hesitate to get in touch with us via your support tab.

Please note too that you can now get in touch with us via social media on Twitter & Facebook. This allows us to locate your account & better sort out any bonus queries you may have.

@Sambat - Apologies for any frustration caused. The majority of retailers will take 3 months to process cashbacks, so a November purchase should hopefully get processed before the end of this month.

Are you able to get in touch with us via Twitter or Facebook. This will just allow me to get that checked out for you promptly.

@bma1445 - We'd love to get that checked out for you. Are you able to get in contact via one of our social media platforms; Facebook or Twitter.

@collectorcol - Do get in touch with us via Twitter or Facebook, so we can look into that Boots cashback for you & hopefully get that sorted.

@spicy_gal - The claim function won't allow for claims on bonuses, as these get added in separately. Nevertheless, Please get in touch with your Twitter or Facebook teams so we can have that looked in to.

Do note that the majority of retailers will take 3 months to process automatically tracked cashback, and 4 months with claims (from the date a claim is raised). The bonus then follows 3 days after 'confirmation' so it is highly likely that this should get sorted this month if your qualifying purchase was made in November.

Kind Regards,

Joseph

Think it's an account specific offer. If you haven't received the email not sure if they will give the bonus.

Be patient. I had one of my Quidco bonuses confirmed last week. One more to come through for me.

One of those things. Good experiences, bad experiences. TCB have hopeless customer service. Quidco, I find, will do everything to help you get your cashback.

I unexpectedly got it a week ago so here's hoping  (I haven't contacted them about it or anything)

Not eligible on mine, but eligible on the wife's account.

I have one of the £10 bonuses from last year from boots, showed as soon as the cashback from that retailer went to confirmed.

not going to bother with Quidco. i still havent had my £5 tracked from a promotion they ran last November. Now they are not letting me submit a claims request, saying that i am outside of their query window for tracking missing cashback. TCB are much more straight forward and i hardly ever have to chase up lost cashback

Quidco used to be good a few years back. Now rubbish

You arent missing much, I think I might ask them to cancel premium too.

I had chat available as a premium member but with payouts taking pretty much the same amount of time as regular I asked them to cancel premium and lost live chat.

Quidco use to be excellent I've got over £1k back in cashback but recently they are declining cashback and taking an age to payout.

And for the web chat, it is totally rubbish. All I get are robotic answers where the agent simply copy and pastes a standard answer.

They took 63 days to credit my first tracked purchase. A long time but I got it nonetheless so happy (and hot for this post).

I'm getting fed up with Quidco. Since the start of this year none of my purchases ever get tracked and then I have to raise a claim which takes months to process. Grrrrr

Not valid to me. I do find I have to call them every couple of months to bring my account up to date. In fairness they call you back in a 2 hour slot and normally credit you

I didn't get an email but was able to activate. got my £10 currys bonus from black Friday but still awaiting one from argos. I'm buying stuff from argos later anyway so I'll give it a try but not fussed if I don't get it
