Wish you could just turn fast forward on the game was pretty decent about a 35 hour game sadly not alot of reply value mainly because there is not much post content 4 very small dungeons and no new game plus option.

Really? Is this towards end game, most fights for me are over in seconds but I keep R1 pressed down so the timer moves super fast.

I've not played it that long yet but I can't get enough so far!

My main issues with the game come from the following:
1. Random encounters, which requires you to spend at least two minutes taking the enemy down. The rate of encounters is also fairly high.
2. Monster collection. For a game that has monster collection as a main focus, it is a shame that the character models are repeated so often with just a re colour.

Thanks for the replies. My main issues when I watched reviews at release were a) my huge backlog and b) many reviews saying it got boring before the campaign end. People said the same about FXV though, but I loved that and finished it very quickly. I played X/X-2 to death as well. So I'm guessing this is the same. Did it become boring before you hit the 50hr mark? Reviews are always funny in that they complain when games are short, then complain that they are long!

Oh and it's an awesome game, Mix of Final Fantasy and Pokemon. The demo is pretty poor though, so don't judge it by the demo!

Grainger Games also have the Vita Day One version of this game for £25 or £20 preowned. I bought the two to take advantage of CrossPlay.

If anyone is looking for the Day One edition, Grainger Games have it advertised on their site for £29.99 although it has a picture of the normal edition.

Anyone who's played this, how good is it? Really tempted by this...

There's a demo if you want to try it out for yourself
It is good. Check out gameplay videos to see if your thing. Much better than FFXV in my opinion.

Try the demo (though that doesn't give it too much justice)
Still worth trying first though as u can get a feel for the combat.
Personally from the demo I hated the chibi characters but I soon got over it when playing the main game and I am glad I did because I love it. I am however a massive turn based fan so there is 0% chance I wouldn't like this lol.
The combat is great, turn based but u can speed it up with R1 (which I love) you can even auto battle if you want but I've never been a big fan of that.
It's like Pokemon and Final Fantasy had a baby tbh. Tons of customisation too, even early on! If we compare this to say FFXV...I'd pick this any day even if it is childish and wacky. It's just fun with a lot of customisation and true old school turn based feelings but with some modern touches!
I can't wait to progress and get some of the awesome creatures. I've currently got this massive hand creature and you can use it as a mount lol. I have a baby behemoth and it's awesome and later I imagine that will evolve into a behemoth which I will then no doubt be able to mount too.
I just, I will stop there but everything about the game I love. I've even started to like the chibi graphics now and I thought I would hate them forever.

You're welcome! I really enjoyed the demo. Just never got it as FF XV was my main focus. But with that already finished I'm able to get this one.
