Heat for the price though - a great story but the experience is marred a bit by bugs and crashes :smirk:
Play it through and make £3 profit, trading it into Game (price-matching CEX)

Good deal but shows at £13.95 now - not on Xbox one either which is a shame

I wasn't bought by this game when I played episode 1 like I was for Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us or GOT. So I'm going to wait for the inevitable sale where it hits £6/£7. For how recent this is it's a great price though.

Borderlands was fantastic, and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of the games it's based on...
The Sam & Max stuff was good (you can play them via X1 back compatibility) and Monkey Island. BttF I enjoyed... In fact thinking about it, JP is the only one I couldn't get on with.

Haha, I get you.
Yes it was raw and glitchy but still fun. I didn't like the borderlands game or 400 days DLC, not played Back to the future, Game of Thrones or Minecraft.

Whats everyones favourite telltale games? Out of the ones ive played it probably goes like:
1. Wolf among us
2. Walking Dead S1
3. Walking Dead S2
4. Walking Dead Michonne
5. Jurassic Park
Gave up on Tales from the Borderlands but really looking forward to playing this one, the demo was excellent on PC.

Story-wise, it's a pretty great game. Shame they're still using that atrocious engine that somehow runs worse on this generation (and even high-end PCs). Be prepared to have frustrations at poor framerates and random crashes. Telltale need a better engine yesterday.
Great game. Can only say that the technical issues must be intermittent as I didn't have a single issue during my play through. Well worth it at this price.

I love Batman - Dark knight films and Arkham games anyway.
I thought Walking dead season 1 was incredible, Wolf amongst us was great, but after playing 400 days and season 2 I got less interested in their formula.
I only played a couple of hours of Tales of the Borderlands before giving up.
Just a bit tired of their QTE's, relatively irrelevant dialog options and cut scenes every 2 min.
So, with that in mind- is there any point in me getting this?

I've been thinking about it and I think you're right. I'm giving it a pass because I like the source material and the dev, but it really isn't good enough is it. It's game after game from them and given how well they're doing it's not acceptable.
To my mind, all the episodes other than 4 were fine, but that's with the caveat: for a telltale game. Yes i had glitches, snail-crawl frame rate drops, (particularly outside) and the audio going MIA forcing a reset. I thought you were being unfair, but you weren't. It runs like sh*t.

I only played it about a month ago i.e. beyond the release of the full game (v1.05 I think), and the bugs affected several episodes. Not just graphical/sound/gameplay glitches either (though there were lots of those), several complete crashes. The framerate too was, to put it lightly, inconsistent. That's really bad for such a lo-fi game, in my opinion.
That doesn't take too much away from the game itself, which is fantastic. It's just unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing.

Why not? Plays just the same and you can trade in when done, making some money back
Gutted if Game stop price matching trade ins... I do this all the time as I prefer what Game sells over CEX, including digital credit...

Finished this a few days ago and technical issues aside, it was well worth the price I paid, never mind £10.95!
I can't agree more with what others have said though; Telltale need to either fix their engine or start using somebody else's like Dontnod did with Life is Strange (which used Unreal IIRC).

 I got that too!
And missing skin, floating eyes & teeth, etc. I had to re-play 1 section 5 times due to it crashing at the same point.
And that was v1.05 - how bad must v1.00 have been?
They wrote a new engine for this game... and it needs some work
I did enjoy the story though

It's fine for the people who have a decent internet connection, myself included. Many don't in terms of speed or data limits and buy games on disc because they want them, you know, on the disc!

It's more of a Bruce Wayne story then Batman anyway.
I run it on an original PS4 and didn't have any problems with frame rates etc. The only problem I had was at the end of episodes 1 to 3 the screen was stuck displaying the choices made, with no Back or go to menu option. So the game needed a reset but thankfully the progress was saved.
I found this game had bigger choices to be made, compared to other Telltale games.

This is actually the first Telltale game I've actually had issues with (other than frame rate)
At one point Bruce's neck was completely twisted around talking to someone else when he should have been talking to Gordon. Also had it completely crash out on me once during an 'action' scene

I played on PS4 and it wasn't too bad. Perhaps that is because I'm comparing it to Back to the Future, which must have crashed over 100 times for me across the 5 episodes :/
Well worth playing even if it is a bit buggy. I really enjoyed it.

My local are a bit picky- first it was you have to print and bring us the prices if you're trading in loads, then it changed to even if it's just one thing, so they're probably one of the few trailing it  (maybe they just got tired of me always trading stuff in )
